Before we start, don't worry, the only spoiler for Spider-Man: No Way Home you'll find here is that the latest installment in the MCU is very, very good. Although the new Spidey flick doesn't start screening in cinemas until tomorrow officially, and later this week in other parts of the world, it premiered on Monday night which means some lucky Marvel fans have already had the chance to see it.

Not only does that mean the spoiler risk between now and when you see the movie is very much real, so get to muting those keywords on Twitter, it also means the reviews are starting to roll in. A few hours on from the very first people seeing the movie and posting their thoughts and it's so far, so good. No Way Home currently has a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes. That's the kind of rare air even Citizen Kane no longer breathes. IGN describes it "as both the darkest and funniest MCU Spider-Man entry to date", while Lyle's Movie Files goes as far as to write No Way Home "isn't just the best of the eight live-action Spider-Man films, it's one of the superior films of the entire Marvel Studios franchise".

There has been a bigger focus than usual on the Rotten Tomatoes scores of MCU movies in recent months. Firstly because Shang-Chi scored incredibly well, landing it a spot among some of the best-performing MCU movies to date. Eternals, on the other hand, did quite the opposite. The Marvel movie introducing ten new heroes all at once is currently the lowest-rated movie in the MCU on RT, which seems a little unfair. Even The Incredible Hulk scored better.

MCU spoilers have also been a point of contention over the course of the past month or so. Some of those who were lucky enough to see Eternals early leaked some key plot points from the movie which naturally angered fans who hadn't already seen it. Then last week, Black Widow star Florence Pugh shared footage of her sort-of surprise appearance in Hawkeye shortly after the episode debuted on Disney+. That rubbed those who hadn't yet watched the episode the wrong way.

The spoiler risk for No Way Home is obviously higher than Eternals and Hawkeye combined. While the villains from other Spider-Man movies returning have been confirmed via trailers, everyone involved has remained tight-lipped on whether Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire will be joining them. Some people outside of those involved with the movie now know that one way or the other, so again, be very wary of spoilers from here on out.
