If you’re not already excited about Marvel’s Spider-Man for the PlayStation 4, it’s high time you should be. Hopefully, the latest news will be the push needed to get you there. Another alternate spidey-suit has been revealed for those who pre-order the PS4-exclusive title, coming in the form of the Iron Spider suit.

The slick-looking suit should be familiar to those who have seen the trailers for Avengers: Infinity War, which showcases Tom Holland as Peter Parker, impressively donning the shiny, armored suit (which was also teased at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming).

The announcement comes earlier than expected, which is understandable as the gameplay footage of the Iron Spider suit appears to have been leaked from the Twitter account, Marvelous Realm. The tweet has since been deleted, but not before multiple other sources managed to snag the footage.

The brief video shows off Spider-Man web-slinging his way through the busy streets of downtown New York; sunlight gloriously shimmering off of the Iron Spider suit as he perches atop a tower with illuminated blue eyes.

While not necessarily planned, the timing of the Iron Spider suit reveal is more than relevant, with the live-action Avengers: Infinity War film primed for its April 27th release date. Additionally, included with the leaked footage is a note in the corner of the video indicating that the game’s iron suit was in fact inspired by the massively-anticipated next chapter of the Marvel Cinematic universe.

The Iron Spider suit is the second alternate suit to be revealed for the game as a pre-order bonus. Already, the Spider-Punk suit has been announced - amongst other pre-order bonuses - with one more suit to be revealed as the game’s release date of September 7th gets closer.

As previously reported, all pre-order bonuses - save for the PS4 theme and avatar - will still be available in-game for those who wish to forego the pre-order option. There is no word yet as to how or when the special bonuses will be unlocked in the game.

Regardless, the Iron Spider suit will likely be one of the more popular suits to be used by players, considering the hype surrounding arguably one of the more fan-favorite characters in Avengers: Infinity War.
