Peter Parker's redesign for Spider-Man Ps5 has finally been revealed, and fans are reacting negatively. Most are claiming that the new Peter looks too much like Tom Holland, his actor in the new Spider-Man movies. This is exciting to some fans, while others aren't so happy with the decision.

Memes are popping up quick, and social sites such as Twitter are already crawling with funny memes about Peter Parker's new look. It's impossible to cover them all, so here are the best memes about Peter Parker's redesign so far.

Insomniac Games has created some amazing titles, including Spyro the DragonRatchet & Clank, and even Spider-Man for PS4. It's safe to say that they make great games and that they know how to come up with some amazing characters and designs.

However, their most recently revealed design choice isn't going over super well. As this meme's creator depicts through Loki, Spidey fans just want a Peter Parker who hasn't undergone drastic visual changes. There's obviously a lot of disappointing responses to Insomniac Games' latest reveal.

9 Nevermind The Upgrade!

The PS5 is super hyped up because of it's upgraded graphics and its high potential. This system can really work wonders, making characters look more life-like than ever before. Most Spidey fans have been looking forward to a Peter Parker upgrade, but according to this meme by lars_fs, this is not the upgrade fans have been waiting for. Redo, please?

8 The Greatest Loss

Well, it looks like the PS4 Peter Parker is beloved. This meme depicts the idea that fans not only dislike the new design, but that they're considering this change to be a great loss. Developers nailed it the first time. While upgrades are nice, some things are better left the same.

However, Thanos does follow up this quote by saying that there's no time for grieving. The game is coming out pretty soon, so the odds of developers changing Pete's design are rather slim. At least he's not totally missing from the game like fans once feared, right?

7 Baby-Faced Peter Parker?

This meme is typically followed up with the word "evil," so it definitely could be worse. The point of this one is basically to state that Peter is aging backward. Similar to Aunt May in the Spider-Man movies, Peter's looking younger and younger.

Peter didn't become Spider-Man until high school, so hopefully the next game won't make him look any younger. For now, fans will just have to deal with baby-faced Peter Parker.

6 To Trust Or Not To Trust?

It's almost like Spider-Man versus Symbiote Spidey. One will save a life, while the other just might take it. Well, that's a bit extreme actually. The new Peter doesn't look murderous, but some fans believe his new look is off-putting at the very least.

Overall, this meme suggests that Peter isn't looking like his regular friendly neighborhood self in the PS5 model. He does appear to have a much more smug look in the second picture.

5 A Classic Toby McGuire Meme

Many Millennial fans will never get over the original early 2000s Spider-Man actor, Toby McGuire. That's what makes this meme all the more relatable to a lot of Spidey fans.

In the original Spider-man games, McGuire actually played the voice of Spider-Man, making the game feel all the more realistic. That said, in some cases, it's definitely cool when video games match up with movies. The issue lies in poor Peter going through way too many unnecessary style and design changes.

4 It's You, It's Me Meme: Tom Holland

This all but confirms what Insomniac Games was going for. The new Peter Parker model greatly resembles Tom Holland. These Spider-Man Pointing memes have been popular for ages, so this one had to be made for obvious reasons.

3 Spiderling, Spiderboy, Spider...man?

Hey, Tony Stark has a point here. Tom Holland's version of Spidey is wholesome, funny, and loved by many, but at the end of the day, he's still a kid. It sure would be nice if everyone could just age backwards instead of growing older, but that's not realistic.

While the desire to design the PS5 Peter Parker to look like Tom Holland is understandable, it looks like most fans prefer an older Spidey. An aged version of this Holland-ized Peter is more ideal.

2 The Office: NO Meme

This one's pretty self-explanatory. In the Office, Michael Scott goes on a "no, God, please, no" rampage when someone he dislikes returns to work. There's a lot of passion behind those screams, and just like Michael, Spider-Man fans aren't taking this change too lightly.

1 Grieving His Former Self

This meme is definitely funny, but also a little heartbreaking. The bottom photo shows Peter mourning his Uncle Ben in the original Spider-Man movies, and the top picture shows the PS4's version of Peter. In short, the original Spidey is also unhappy with his newest redesign.

It looks like there's a lot of frustration surrounding this topic, but there's also a lot to laugh about. Hopefully, the change will feel better once the game releases in November. If not, at least fans will have some time to cool off before having to adjust to the new design changes.
