Splitgate is celebrating its first Christmas with a fitting new name - Splitmas. This update transforms Stadium, Pantheon, and Abyss into wintery wonderlands, but that's not all. There's a new AR and Bard skin accompanied by a new spray, all created by the community.

Also arriving in Splitgate are new themed weapons, portal skins, drops, loading screens, and an updated main menu to better reflect the festivities. You can find your champion plodding their boots into the snow as they patiently wait to find a game. Once in, you can continue to plod along.

Aside from the holiday theme, Season 0's Battle Pass has been extended into "early next year." That includes challenges, so you have plenty of time to complete it, but if you already have, you'll have to wait a little longer for the new one.

On top of that, a TeamSeas skin has been added. It costs real money, but all proceeds will be donated to the charity. If you haven't heard of it, TeamSeas is run by YouTubers MrBeast and Mark Rober, continuing what they started with Team Trees.

They want to raise 30 million dollars so that they can remove 30 million pounds of marine debris from the ocean. Their deadline for this goal is January 1, 2022, so there isn't long left to complete it. As of now, they've managed to remove 17 million pounds worth of debris. 13 more to go.

Splitmas is live now with a download of 2.9 GB. So get it ready, grab a hot cup of cocoa, slip on that Santa hat, and gear up for a few rounds of festive fun.
