Devil May Cry 5’s latest and final trailer probably has a whole bunch of spoilers, so be warned before you watch it.

But of course, we’re going to just leave it here for you since spoilers never really stopped anyone.

Devil May Cry 5 is almost here. In a week, we will finally get to see what happens to the three musketeers, Nero, Dante, and a mysterious sorcerer named “V.” Likely one of them will die. Likely all of them will die. Likely, the whole world may very well die.

See? We warned you there’d be spoilers.

But seriously though, here’s what we do know. Devil May Cry 5 takes place a few years after the events of Devil May Cry 4. Dante has gone back to being the scraggly demon-hunting detective he’s always been, while Nero has decided to forge his own path by also becoming a scraggly demon-hunting detective. Only Nero uses an old, beat-up van with a neon Devil May Cry sign as his base of operations instead of an old, beat-up office with a neon Devil May Cry sign.

A mysterious sorcerer named “V” shows up to Dante’s office and warns there’s demon attacks happening all over the planet. Meanwhile, Nero is busily hunting the hooded figure that stole his demon arm and replaced it with a robotic one.

With us so far? Good. ‘Cause it’s all downhill from here.

While on their respective cases, Dante, Nero, and V all meet up to combat the demon apocalypse. Some weird branching demon palace sprouts from the ground (as per our lovely trailer) and reveals a big bad demon lord who Dante and the gang will definitely need to murder the heck out of.

Three women show up and each play damsel in distress, completing the plot of every Devil May Cry game ever made.

“The world as we know it is falling apart and it's up to Nero, Dante and V to team up and face the ultimate challenge in #DMC5,” reads the trailer text. That’s pretty much all you need to know.

Devil May Cry 5 arrives on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC March 8th. Mark your calendars.
