Google's vice president and head of product for Stadia John Justice is no longer with the company. This was first reported by The Information and was later confirmed by Google in a statement made to 9to5Google.

"We can confirm John is no longer with Google and we wish him well on his next step," a Google rep said. Justice has yet to update his LinkedIn profile and has offered no comment.

Justice joined Google in 2019 and oversaw Stadia's customer experience following its release. He was previously critical of Google's tendency to over-promise on Stadia's features, which famously launched without the promised 4K60 graphics that Google had been hyping for some time.

Stadia did eventually get 4K60 graphics, but only several months after launch and only on PCs with high-speed connections. Google has already been named as a defendant over Stadia's under-delivered promises in a class-action lawsuit filed last February.

Back in December, Justice said during a Stadia presentation that Google would stop hyping up planned features and instead just release them in order to avoid angering fans. Since then, new Stadia features have arrived without preamble, such as the recently added search bar.

Stadia as a platform seems to be powering through on its plans for third-party support. Ever since Google shut down its two internal game studios, Stadia has been adding new games to its library at a record pace. In celebration of Star Wars Day, Google is adding Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order to the Stadia Pro lineup, along with Hotline Miami 2, Trine 4, and Floor Kids. You can claim all four games to start playing right this second.

And if you're more into Assassin's Creed, the highly-rated Black Flag is coming to Stadia. That's according to the official Stadia Twitter account, which accidentally posted a picture of Assassin's Creed: Black Flag when announcing the arrival of a search bar for finding games.
