Someone leaked images from the Star Wars Eclipse reveal trailer a week before The Game Awards and no one noticed.

Leaks are a very common thing before big game shows, but it's rare when one of them is actually accurate. Even rarer than that is when one is accurate and no one even notices it.

That's exactly what's happened with Star Wars Eclipse. A week before The Game Awards, Twitter user AccNGT Tweeted out a still from the Eclipse trailer, as well as showing off the finished logo that we get to see in the trailer. Most people dismissed the image as a fake leak, or some kind of fan-art, but the game's official reveal trailer showed the same logo and same shot of two Jedi wielding lightsabers as AccNGT shared.

AccNGT claims not to be an insider or leaker and instead considers themselves a Game and Data analyst. When asked about the leak, they said, "This is an official image, probably from the teaser yes" implying that they were sent the image from someone else and are simply reporting on it.

Interestingly, this isn't the first thing that AccNGT has shared about Star Wars Eclipse, and considering that they had an official image from the game a week before its reveal, it seems likely that some of it is true. Some of the key details that AccNGT has highlighted include that it is, "Action-Adventure, based on interactive storytelling, open world, next-gen only" and has some "multiplayer elements".

AccNGT also claims that "Quantic Dream Montreal is very involved" and that the game will have traditional action gameplay. They also report that playtesting is in progress and that development is "rather advanced", which apparently refers to the pre-production of the game. From this information, it seems like Eclipse is still very early in development.

It's not clear how AccNGT got development details and images from the trailer so early on, but considering that they've been proven right, it's possible that some of the other information is going to be true as well.
