Customization is also great in Fallen Order, letting players customize their character both in terms of their skills and cosmetics. While customizing Cal's poncho is neat, modifying the lightsaber he wields has surprising depth to it considering its lack of gameplay alterations compared to Star Wars games before it. With that said, here are the coolest and best custom lightsaber parts you can find in Fallen Order and where to find them.

Updated December 28th, 2020 by Josh Davison: Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is among the more celebrated Star Wars video games in recent years, and interest in the game remains strong despite the lack of additional content released for the game since its street date. Whether it be the gameplay, the characters, or the story that attracts gamer attention and affection, it's undeniable that the game has a very strong visual aesthetic. A large part of that visual aesthetic is Cal Kestis' lightsaber, which the player can alter with various components found throughout the game. With that in mind, we here at The Gamer are going to dive back into this list with the remaining available lightsaber components found throughout the universe of Fallen Order.

16 Valor And Wisdom II

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

Among the less interesting-looking lightsaber designs in the game, Valor and Wisdom II highlights some of the ideals of the Jedi Order. It is a goal for all Jedi, Cal Kestis included.

Both the sleeve and switch for the Valor and Wisdom II set can be found in the Great Divide on Bogano. A spire looms over the large elevator shift that can be scaled by grappling the vines, and the sleeve is inside the unlocked chest at the top. The switch lies at the bottom of aforementioned elevator shift.

15 Peace And Justice II

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

Peace and Justice II's sleeve can also be found on Bogano. The sleeve gives a horizontal ribbed appearance which looks more suited for gripping. It's on the top of the Fractured Plain in a chest.

The switch can be found underwater in Origin Lake on Kashyyyk. A tunnel exists in the lake that will lead you to the switch's chest.

14 Power And Control II

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

The Power and Control II kit gives Cal's lightsaber a sleeker look than many of the other lightsaber parts in Fallen Order.

The Power and Control II switch can be found in the Swamp of Sacrifice on Dathomir near the arena where Cal Kestis fights the Nydak. It's somewhat above this area where Cal most mantle a series of rocks, branches, and a large tree stump. The sleeve can be found on Ilum in the Crystal Caves behind a pair of Probe Droids.

13 Passion And Strength II

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

Passion and Strength II's sleeve is a more defined counterpart to Valor and Wisdom II and resembles the sleeve to Anakin Skywalker's lightsaber. It can be found at Kyyyalstaad Falls on Kashyyyk behind plenty of Stormtroopers. Swinging and sliding will bring you to an unlockable shortcut where the sleeve lies.

The switch can be found in the same area after an encounter with a Purge Trooper near the beginning of Kyyyalstaad Falls and after a wall that Cal must run across and a door to open with the Force.

12 Duty And Resolve II

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

The Duty and Resolve II lightsaber set give Cal Kestis' lightsaber more of a runic and ancient appearance and stands distinct from most of the lightsaber parts in Fallen Order.

Both parts lie on Zeffo in the Weathered Ruins in a cave on the right side. The switch can be found with BD-1's scomp link in the area excavated by the Empire. The scomp link will get you through a door on the way to the switch as well as the chest containing the switch itself.

11 Eno Cordova

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

Eno Cordova's lightsaber looks remarkably similar to the blade of Master Obi-Wan Kenobi himself. The switch, emitter, and sleeve of Eno Cordova can be found on Bogano.

The emitter can be found in the Hermit's Abode above the entrance where Cal Kestis first enters the area. The switch can be found in the same area near the shortcut rope and after a use of BD-1's overcharge. The sleeve is in the Abandoned Workshop but requires Cal's learning of the Force Push. It's also given to the player when Cal first builds the double-bladed lightsaber.

10 Power and Control

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Dathomir

This unique looking lightsaber can be obtained by finding all 3 of its parts scattered on both Dathomir and Ilum.

Power and Control's sleeve can be located on Dathomir. Head to the Collapsed Settlement and find an elevator towards the end of the section. You'll find it inside of a chest after the ride. For the emitter, head to the Swamp of Sacrifice and find the chest next to the edge of a cliff. On Ilum, you'll need to navigate to the Crystal Caves and dive underwater. The chest containing the switch is easy to spot once underwater.

9 Valor and Wisdom

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Bogano

The Valor and Wisdom lightsaber is what most Star Wars fans think when they imagine what a noble Jedi Knight would wield into battle. To find their parts, players must travel to both Kashyyk and Bogano.

On Bogano, the switch can be found in the Abandoned Worksop. Look for a chest near the water. The emitter is underwater in the same zone residing in a chest. The sleeve is on Kashyyk, requiring players to enter the Shadowlands to obtain it. It unlocks in the fourth chapter of the campaign.

8 Peace and Justice

Those who wish to follow the Jedi code might wish to pick up the Peace and Justice lightsaber set. All items required for this type of lightsaber can be found on Kashyyk.

Starting with the switch, head towards the Kyyyalstaad Basin and hop into the water. You'll find it if you swim deep enough. The Peace and Justice emitter is, again, underwater but this time in the Shadowlands. Finally, the sleeve can be obtained from the Chieftain's Canopy. You have to interact with a workbench for the part to be claimed, however.

7 Elemental Nature II

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cal Kestis

Some lightsaber parts have variants you can obtain throughout your adventures. These parts do not require their original variant to obtain. Elemental Nature II is one such variant.

Make your way to Zeffo to begin your quest. Elemental Nature II's sleeve is found in the Weathered Monument area. The chest is easy to spot. For the switch, head to the Venator Ship Wreckage. When you reach the back of the destroyed ship, look for a hidden opening in the wall to claim it. There are no emitter variants for Elemental Nature II, so you can just use the Elemental Nature one instead to complete the look.

6 Duty and Resolve

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

Duty and Resolve resembles an ancient style of lightsaber that would look right at home in The Old Republic series of Star Wars games. The good news is all 3 of its parts can be scavenged from Zeffo.

Head to the Abandoned Village for the first part. Hop on the rooftops and take out the two stormtroopers nearby. The sleeve is next to where they were stationed. For the emitter, head to the Derelict Hanger. Find your way behind a locked door to claim it. Auger Pulverizers hide the last part. The switch for Duty and Resolve is in a chest here.

5 Passion and Strength

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Lightsaber

The name of this lightsaber is derived from the Sith code famously spoken in Knights of the Old Republic, and the lightsaber looks the part of a Sith blade.

Begin your journey on Kashyyk to find all the lightsaber parts. In the Imperial Refinery, look for the edge of a cliff to find a locked chest. You'll have to use force push to access the area, but once inside claim your emitter from the chest. Overgrown Pass contains the switch. Find a chest near the entrance and ask your trusty PD-1 medical droid to slice it open. For the sleeve, enter the Kyyyalstaad Basin and you should see it on a nearby wooden platform.

4 Cere Junda

Cere Junda is one of the companions you will find in Fallen Order, complete with her own interesting backstory and motivations that are surprisingly captivating.

There is a lightsaber set named after her which you can obtain later in the game. As players progress through the story, Cere will begin to unveil her backstory and reveal she was a Jedi herself. Parts of her lightsaber are gifted to Cal as the game progresses and certain story beats unfold. Just enjoy the game and you'll obtain the full set soon enough.

3 Elemental Nature

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cal Kestis

While Elemental Nature II was covered earlier, the original variant looks even cooler than the second variant. Head to Zeffo if you want to obtain the emitter, sleeve, and switch parts.

Like most parts, the sleeve can be found in a hidden chest. Once at the Crash Site location, head underwater and go as far down as you can to locate the chest. For the switch, stay at the Crash Site and look for a nearby cave. The lightsaber emitter can be found underwater near the Venator's Wreckage. Head near the entrance and dive underwater to find it.

2 Jaro Tapal

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cal Kestis

Cal's default lightsaber is one of the coolest looking lightsabers in the game. Its simplicity is partly why it is so eye-catching. It makes the player wonder how Cal survived Order 66 and how he obtained his iconic weapon.

To unlock this lightsaber set, you just need to start the game. This is the first lightsaber set you obtain, so there are no real unlock requirements. To customize your lightsaber, you can search for parts mentioned on the list or earn new lightsaber materials. You can change the blade color itself, but most of the unlockable options for it are earned later in the game.

1 Magus

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Cal Kestis

If Cal ever became a Sith Lord, this is likely the lightsaber he would use. The intricate ornaments on the hilt and emitters make it appear like an ancient tool of destruction.

Head to Dathomir to find the Magus parts. The sleeve is located at Brother's Bastion. Simply interact with a workbench and the sleeve is yours. The switch can be found in the same location at the floor level in a chest. To complete the look, head to the Upper Strangled Cliffs to find the emitter. Fight the spiders guarding the chest. Once they're defeated, look for the hidden wall to find the chest containing the final part.

Other lightsaber part locations can be found in this guide from ScreenRant.
