There is simply no denying how fantastic Jedi: Fallen Order is. As selfish as it may be, fans are understandably frothing at the mouth for a sequel and the continuation of the phenomenal story and the journeys of the brilliant characters. However, the gameplay and combat cannot go unrecognized.

It is an incredibly smooth and enjoyable game to play for any type of fan, and the range of Force powers are a joy to master. One of the most important is Force Push, a skill that is useful in so many different ways, some that fans may not even realize.

10 Press For One Enemy, Hold For The Group

The most straightforward tip for the Force Push ability is how to use it.

Simply pushing the right trigger at the selected enemy pushes that one enemy back. However, if you hold it in, the power builds up and unleashes a push on every one of the enemies in front of the player.

9 Push Enemies Over Edges

The power does not work to push enemies on their backs or help out in situations with multiple enemies surrounding the player; but it can help with getting achievements and trophies in-game.

The "Look Out Below" trophy/achievement requires the player to push 25 enemies over the edge. This works perfectly on a few planets, but Zeffo works exceptionally well with the village of Stormtroopers and Scout Troopers.

8 Throw Enemies At One Another

This is another instance in which Force Push shows its usefulness for completionists who want to garner all the trophies or achievements for the game.

The "Bank Shot" achievement and trophy requires the player to defeat an enemy by throwing them into another enemy. By combining Force Pull with Force Push, this achievement is one that is both a fun use of the power and easy to get.

7 Use Against Rocket Troopers, Grenades, & Bounty Hunters

Another achievement that can get unlocked with the use of Force Push is "Big Bang." But in general, Force Push is useful for what is required to do this achievement, even without getting the achievement.

Force Push allows Cal to throw grenades and rockets back at Rocket Troopers and Bounty Hunters, giving you a substantial advantage to deal with easier or closer enemies.

6 Also, AT-ST's

It is not just Bounty Hunters and Rocket Troopers that Force Push is effective against though. AT-ST's can get efficiently dealt with by using the Force Push smartly.

The AT-ST will regularly attempt to throw grenades and launch rockets at Cal. Throwing them back at the walker with Force Push stops Cal from taking pretty much any damage and deals lots to the AT-ST.

5 Push Flame Beetles & Probe Droids

As well as using enemies own weapons and devices against them, certain enemies can get used against other enemies.

Namely, the Flame Beetles and Probe Droids. When the Flame Beetles are Forced Pushed, their tails explode in a flame knocking over enemies. As for the Probe Droid, after getting hit enough, they will try and fly towards Cal to self-destruct, by Force Pushing them they will destroy other Probe Droids, or kill/knock over enemies.

4 Cannot Use It On Blaster Bolts

Despite all the things that Force Push can do, and all the various things throughout the campaign it helps with massively, blaster bolts are not one.

Using the Force for blaster bolts is a relatively complicated endeavor. Using Force Stasis on them slows the bolts, but Cal cannot then Force Push the bolts back, if the player attempts this, they will likely get shot. Instead, pull the trooper into the bolt.

3 Find The Fifth Crew Member

Force Push is not just a useful power to use in the various combat situations throughout the game, but also helps with general things like creating bridges, or blowing through doors and openings.

One such opening is on Zeffo, where Cal can encounter the secret fifth member of the Mantis crew. Just under the ship and down, the spiral staircase is a wall that can get Force Pushed through to reveal a Boggling, which will join the Mantis' crew.

2 Do Not Waste It

The best general tip for using Force Push is not to waste it, it has so many useful applications, but it cannot do everything.

It is useless against a lot of much larger harder enemies, and can necessarily waste a Force power. It can forcefully open up many doors, earn achievements, and earn some well needed time to heal or separate enemies; it must get used well.

1 Use It Efficiently Against Bosses

In general, Force Push is useless against bosses. They will not get knocked on their back, and some do not even nudge backward, so it would waste some well-needed energy.

However, what the Force Push can do is interrupt attacks. Take Taron Malikos for example. When he is flipping towards the player and the player Force Pushes him, it will interrupt the attack, allowing Cal to strike him.
