Holotactics is a minigame in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. To play it, you have to complete The Odd Pair rumor, which recruits Bhima and Tulli to Pyloon's Saloon after you rescue them from a raging Mogu. They'll set up the game in the empty room on the second floor next to the fish tank.

When you defeat enemies in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you can have BD-1 scan most of them. This adds them as units to your Holotactics inventory. As you play against Cal's allies in friendly games of Holotactics, you'll earn some great rewards by using your brain and the best units available.

10 AT-ST

An AT-ST fire rockets down upon its enemies in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The AT-ST is the costliest unit in all of Holotactics. You'll run into quite a few of them as you venture across Jedha in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Take one down, scan it, and use it in the later rounds of the mini-game.

It requires 25 Battle Points, which do carry over from round to round. The cost of it knocks it down quite a bit, as you can find more useful units for less. In terms of sheer firepower, though, the AT-ST will run through the majority of your opponents' units.

9 B1 Droid (Melee)

Several B1 Droids (Melee) rush the enemy in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The best units to use in Holotactics aren't always the most powerful against other units. Sometimes, you'll need a bit of fodder. That is what the B1 Droids with melee weapons do best.

These can be invaluable if you wish to protect a higher cost unit. You'll fight plenty of them on Koboh, making it very easy to scan one and add it to your Holotactics army. More often than not, they'll get at least one hit in.

8 Raider Grunt

Two Raider Grunt units attack their enemies in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Raider Grunt is one of the most common enemies you'll come across on Koboh. If you venture into Bedlam Raider territory, expect a mass of these guys to come at you swinging their electrically charged staffs.

That aggression works well in a Holotactics match, as they'll rush the opposition to deal quick damage. The Raider Grunt doesn't have much health, but they'll stay standing long enough to let your more valuable units begin their assault.

7 Raider Veteran

Raider Veterans attack with their electrostaffs in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

For just five Battle Points, you can place the Raider Veteran down on the Holotactics table. This jetpack wearing, electrostaff wielding fighter is no slouch. It'll go down with a few well-placed blaster shots, but can hold its own against most melee-based units.

The goal of the Raider Veteran is to bolster your forces. It will never be the centerpiece, but it can definitely be the unit that turns the tide. It may very well deal enough opening damage for your units to clean up or vice versa, where it can land the finishing blow if your other units are wiped.

6 DT Sentry Droid (Hammer & Missiles)

A pair of DT Sentry Droids attack imperial units in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

There are three versions of the DT Sentry Droid in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. You have to scan each one to get it in Holotactics, so once you defeat the Hammer & Missiles variant, scan it right away. It costs ten Battle Points and is worth every single one.

This is a rare Holotactics unit with melee and ranged capabilities. It comes with a massive hammer that can take out multiple enemies at once. The same can be said for its missiles, but those are much more avoidable due to the build up required to fire one.

5 Bedlam Smasher

Two Bedlam Smashers swing their hammers in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The elite Bedlam Raider unit you'll face in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is known as the Bedlam Smasher. You won't find many melee-based units in Holotactics that can stand toe to toe with the Smasher.

The Bedlam Smasher's attacks are very slow, but the unit itself is extremely tanky. It takes a lot to knock one down. They also have a leaping hammer smash that allows them to catch up to enemies that have moved further away. One hit from the hammer is as much as just about any unit can take.

4 Rocket Launcher Trooper

Multiple Rocket Launcher Troopers fire upon Purge Troopers and a Bilemaw in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

You'll quickly find that the majority of the best units in Holotactics are ranged units. It allows them to fire from a safe distance, as there's a chance that enemy ranged units firing back can miss. So, why not shell out a measly six Battle Points for an Imperial Rocket Launcher Trooper?

The main downside of the Rocket Launcher Trooper is their lengthy reload time. Put them in a back corner and they should be able to fire off a few rockets before they fall. The characters you face in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor won't deploy units that can withstand multiple direct hits like that.

3 Heavy Assault Trooper

A line of Heavy Assault Troopers fires upon enemy units in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Heavy Assault Trooper is a menace to fight against in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. That translates directly into Holotactics. The armored Stormtrooper comes with a dangerous Z-6 rotary blaster and a circular shield that expands from the gun.

As a unit in Holotactics, it moves rather slow, but it fires enough shots from its blaster to hold back most opposing units. This is a great counter for higher tier melee units. As they move in, the Heavy Assault Trooper will just mow them down.

2 Skriton

A Skriton obliterates Imperial units in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Skriton is a scorpion-like beast you'll find on Jedha in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. It is a tough boss known for its near-impenetrable hide. Blasters are completely useless against the Skriton, and only melee units stand a chance.

It is the most expensive unit from the Fauna category in Holotactics, costing you 20 Battle Points. It is quick for its size and can take a lot of damage. If you've got the BP to spend, you won't be disappointed by the massacre the Skriton causes.

1 Droideka

Two Droidekas mow down Imperial Stormtrooper units in Holotactics in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The Droideka is the number one unit to use in Holotactics. They can roll away from danger, fire an onslaught of blaster bolts, and they have a shield that absorbs a lot of attacks before breaking. Two of them can win against almost every wave you'll face.

They aren't as costly as some other units, being available for just 12 Battle Points. If you save your points up and are able to put other units down to take the brunt of the enemy attack, the Droidekas will have a field day.
