Update [December 5, 11:08 AM ET]: The Steam listing for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor originally appeared as March 16, 2023 on Steam, before changing briefly to March 15, 2023, and has now been removed completely
Jedi: Survivor's Steam page has gone live prior to any official announcements from EA, confirming earlier rumors of a March release window. For months, insiders had claimed that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will launch sometime in March 2023, a release window confirmed by EA's Andrew Wilson in an investor call last month. Then Tom Henderson's Insider Gamer spoke to sources stating that Jedi Survivor will receive an announcement at The Game Awards on Thursday, with the expected trailer and launch date coming some 30 minutes into the presentation.
The hype seemed to reach its peak over the weekend after EA's Star Wars social channels changed their profile pictures and header images to that of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, implying an announcement was imminent. Strangely, no announcement has come, but Jedi Survivor's Steam page has already gone live.
According to the release date listed on Steam, Star Wars: Jedi Survivor arrives on March 16, 2023. Wishlisting is available now, with several pre-purchase items advertised for the Deluxe Edition, including a Han-Solo-like "Scoundrel" costume, the Rugged BD-1 cosmetic, and Han's DL-44 Blaster skin. There's also the Rebel Hero cosmetic that seems modeled after Luke Skywalker, including an R2-D2 BD-1 skin and the Rebel Hero lightsaber. Pre-order the Standard Edition to receive the Hermit cosmetic set clearly inspired by the recent Obi-Wan series, which includes an Obi-Wan lightsaber, costume, and blaster.
