Cal Kestis has come a long way since evading the wrath of the Second Sister, Cere's former Jedi pupil turned dark. In Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, he's charted his course without the companionship of his former comrades. In Fallen Order, we saw Cal reclaim his Jedi training as a young Padawan and enter Jedi Knighthood at the peak of his journey.

Years later, he's only strengthened his skills, and it shows. Survivor now gives Cal a wealth of control over the force and his own sparring abilities through acquired skills making him a true delight as our Jedi avatar.

10 Perfected Stim Formula

Under the Survivor skill tree, there are a handful of skills that ensure Cal continually maintains a pulse despite the hazards he faces across Koboh, Jedha, and the rest of his travels. Perhaps, the best of these skills ensures that Cal receives the rebound he needs in a particularly dicey fight.

Perfected Stim Formula is the skill that grants Cal the maximum available health recovery that he can obtain from each stim usage. You will find this especially crucial as you encounter some of the most formidable boss fight challenges during your playthrough.

9 Howling Push

This is a force maneuver that Cal was able to use during his Fallen Order days. But it's still extremely welcome in the world of Survivor as it can quickly help with crowd control. The landscape is rather vertical and when assaulted by a mob of enemies, Being able to jettison enemies over ledges with an intense force push will be rather handy.

Howling Push is the highest level of the traditional force push with a wide radius and maximum effect. This means it can target multiple enemies at once. Even if a ledge isn't nearby, giving yourself some breathing space is always a plus.

8 Endless Hurricane

There are a total of five force stances, each with its own skill trees. Endless Hurricane falls under the double-bladed skill tree. Once activated, this ability extends your basic attack chain. You'll want to assault opponents with everything you've got and leave them little room to react. Extending your attack chain can do just that.

Furthermore, the double-bladed style made famous by Darth Maul really focuses on quick but impactful jabs that are useful in crowded situations. The Endless Hurricane will only bolster that strategy.

7 Back Step Slash

Dual-wielding two sabers is bound to be a fan favorite. After all, Cal can cover more ground when defending himself from incoming attacks and especially blaster bolts. But sometimes, the enemy is rather volatile and powerful. Going in for a series of slashes may not be the best solution.

If you're staring down a rancor, you have to pick your moves, or else Cal will be Rancor food. The back step slash thrusts Cal forward for a quick slash from both of his blades and then instantly has him jump backward. It's a strong attack with a built-in dodge to keep you on your toes.

6 Vortex Dive

This attack pulls from your force meter, much like most special attacks do. However, it can ultimately cause significant damage and confuse the enemy. When executed, Cal will jump forward, spinning his dual-bladed saber around like a drill.

With heavy-impact hostiles like the legendary beasts, Using this maneuver to whip to the side of the enemy while causing significant damage will then give you an opening for further attack. Just be sure never to target a large enemy directly, or this strategy won't work. Clip them from the side. Also, be sure to have the mullet equipped for maximum style points.

5 Charged Throw

If you don't have the Blaster stance yet, but you wish you had a little more distance in your attacks, the charged throw is a great option. This can be found under the single-blade skill tree. Just like Darth Vader, who at some future time will toss his saber at the platform Luke is standing on during their head-to-head in Return of the Jedi, you too can lob your saber at enemies in order to create some havoc from a distance.

This ability is an upgrade from the traditional throw that puts more power into the attack. Be sure to collect the ability if you prefer using a single blade.

4 Mass Slam

Have you ever wanted to just pick up an enemy and slam them? How about a group of enemies? Now you can with the Mass Slam ability. Literally hold the lives of stormtroopers in the palms of your force-fueled hands.

It's a magnificent thing to watch and even more satisfying to pull off. It also helps to quickly dilute the enemy forces. But be warned; it will take three skill points to claim this beautiful skill for yourself.

3 Point Blank

Undoubtedly, Cal will use every tool at his disposal – even something as uncivilized as a blaster (Obi-wan's words, not ours). After acquiring the stance, a single skill point will get you this defensive maneuver. It is most certainly worth the expense.

It allows you to parry an enemy, but with your blaster. Just before an enemy strikes, you'll hit them with a single blaster shot, opening them up for further attack. No matter what planet you're on, your enemies will know what it's like to have a blaster in their faces.

2 Rising Storm

This powerful attack can be acquired under the double-bladed skill tree. It pulls enemies in close, sending Cal into the area to come crashing down with powerful follow-up attacks. It's a means of corralling your enemies into a close area so that you can tear them apart all at once.

This may get you out of a hot spot when you are assaulted by many hostiles at once. Be wary, however, as it will cost your force meter.

1 Rolling Thunder

Rolling Thunder falls under the Cross Guard stance skill tree. The Cross Guard stance focuses on heavy attacks. As such, it's a bit slower and a tad less graceful than the other lightsaber stances. But it'll surely be effective against the more heavily armored enemies Cal faces.

Rolling Thunder will once again allow you to toss your lightsaber at enemies. However, this time, you can throw your saber in a line through a series of enemies, making it a rather deadly maneuver.
