Of course, in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, you will have an interest simply as the player, given that you're angling to seek out the best perks that you can equip while on your virtual journey. So, put your thinking cap on. Or, just follow our guide to solving the challenging environmental puzzles that lie ahead in the Chamber of Detachment.

How To Access The Chamber Of Detachment

You will need two abilities before approaching the Chamber of Detachment. Both of these abilities are obtained during the main storyline quests.

  • BD-1's Koboh Grinder - This ability allows you to fire a stream of Koboh dust or material from BD-1 onto surfaces. You basically use it as you would any flammable accelerant drawing a line on surfaces from the "flame" (or purple beam) to the Koboh matter growth you're attempting to burn away.
  • Merrin's Magicked Charm - This handy object will grant you the ability to dash through green force fields.

The closest Meditation point to this chamber is the Mountain Ascent Meditation point. In terms of the storyline, it might be more natural to approach this chamber when climbing up the mountain for the main storyline.

Whether you're doing that, however, or simply exploring early, you will have to pass through two green force fields directly in front of you when fast traveling to this point. On the other side, head left and look right to see a waterfall. At the base of the waterfall, the chamber door is just behind it.

Completing The Chamber's Puzzle

After descending the elevator, there will be a force echo immediately in front of you. Continue down the path into an open area to find more force echos placed throughout the room.

You will see a block with a propeller at the end of the room. Use your Force Pull to move it out of the way. Behind it, you will find an orb which you can take. If you turn around and head toward the back of the room, the orb amplifier you need to place it in is on the left wall with a rotating panel. Toss it in to create the beam you need to start burning away Koboh matter.

You can instantly draw a line with BD-1's Koboh Grinder from the beam's contact point on the wall upward and then to the right to burn away a patch of matter holding a Datadisc that you can take to Zee in exchange for some of her goods.

The next task will be to burn away the Koboh matter sitting behind the block you moved to the other end of the room. The problem is that waterfalls and water pools on the ground prevent you from drawing a line directly from the beam's contact point to the Koboh matter. So, you have to get creative.

Douse the side of the block facing the beam with Koboh material and use the force to pull it in front of the beam igniting it. Then send the block back toward the wall with the blockage and continue painting it with Koboh material (if needed) toward the wall from the cube until it burns.

Once the blockage is clear, you will see a second block behind it. This next part requires some careful timing on your part. Send the first block back to the other side with the platform. You will need to have this block glide on top of the platform. But standing on the pressure point is not enough weight to bring the platform all the way down.

You will need to move the second block to the pressure point and juggle it there with the force while quickly turning to push the first block the rest of the way onto the platform when it lowers.

Behind where the second block was originally positioned there is a container you can open. Inside it is the Jedi Paint scheme for BD-1. So don't pass that up!

Once successful, You can move the second block to the position underneath the raised platform. Then climb the vines on the side of the blocks to reach the top. Inside the alcove is the meditation point where you can receive the Patience perk for your efforts.

About The Patience Perk

This perk will come in mighty handy if you're a big user of the slow ability and have even upgraded it to last longer. With the Patience perk attached, your health will refill when using the slow ability. For heavy-hitting boss fights, this is one instance where your force meter can technically be another source of recovering health if you're running low on stims. So, keep that in mind.
