You don't have to sell your products in Stardew Valley for a pittance. Many, many items you can make can be upgraded into artisan goods and sold for a hefty profit.
Artisan goods are typically made using artisan equipment like Kegs, Preserves Jars, and other machines. These pieces of equipment output items that can be worth lots of money. But which ones provide the most? Let's take a look at some of the best, most expensive artisan goods that you can make. They're ranked by both profit and other factors, like how easy they are to make.
Additionally, many artisan goods benefit from certain professions.
- The Rancher profession adds 20% to the sell price of goods produced from animal products. You can choose it at Farming Level 5.
- The Artisan profession adds 40% to the sell price of almost all artisan goods. You can choose it at Farming Level 10 if you chose Tiller at Level 5.

Caviar is one of the best artisan goods in the game. It's made using Sturgeon Roe in a Preserves Jar. Not only is this item worth 500g in the game, which is a hefty sum, but when you have the Artisan profession chosen, this amount bumps up to 700g. You'll need to have a Fish Pond with Sturgeon in it to produce Sturgeon Roe. We actually have a full guide on making Caviar.
It's worth quite a bit of money. Additionally, Caviar is also part of a difficult bundle — the Missing Bundle. Once all the items are collected, the old abandoned JojaMart turns into a movie theatre. So, crafting Caviar is worth it for both your wallet and the plot of the game.

As simple as it is, cheese is a great artisan good. When produced in bulk, this lone item can be worth quite a bit of money. What's even better is that cheese is super simple to make. All you need is cows, their milk, and a cheesemaker. That's it.
You can age Cheese in a Cask once you have a basement. This will increase its quality, which makes it sell for more gold. With the Artisan profession chosen, one unit of iridium-grade Cheese is worth 644g. While it takes a bit for the cheese to age (14 in-game days from start to iridium quality), it's 100% worth it for the selling price. It's a handy artisan good to produce, especially when money is needed quickly.

Cloth is a simple artisan good that you'll probably find you have in abundance, but that's okay, because it can be used to make a good bit of gold. It takes four hours in-game to make Cloth, which is made by placing Wool (from a Sheep or a Rabbit) into a Loom. Not only can it be sold for a profit (658g with the Artisan profession), but it can be used as an ingredient in crafting things such as clothes or even some fishing tackle, the Dressed Spinner.
Additionally, you'll need four bolts of Cloth to construct a Mill. Mills are used to produce Sugar, Rice, and Flour.

One of the rarest items in the game, Dinosaur Mayonnaise is an excellent artisan good to sell for profit. But first, you need to acquire a Dinosaur Egg, and that can be quite a difficult task. They're primarily found by fishing or from an artifact spot.
Once acquired, simply place the Dino Egg in an Incubator to hatch an actual Dinosaur. Now you'll have limitless Dino Eggs! This means limitless Dino Mayo! Each Mayo, with the artisan profession, is worth a whopping 1,120g per unit. It's a great profit-building option.

The base yield for a unit of Honey is 100g, but once it's made near Fairy Roses, the selling price goes all the way up to 680g per unit. That's a steep increase. With the Artisan profession, it becomes one of the most profitable items in the game.

The only part that takes time is the aging process that raises it from the base value (no star) to an iridium star — 14 in-game days. But even at its base quality, it's quick and easy to make, and is also edible.

Many of the residents of Stardew Valley love a good drink once in a while. Pale Ale is one of the alcoholic beverages you can make. With the Artisan profession, a unit of pale ale sells for 840g, which is a pretty hefty amount for a drink. It's also a consumable item for the player, meaning you can also use this item to boost your energy and their health while out and about.
It's created by putting Hops in a Keg and letting it stew for 37.5 in-game hours. Then, like Cheese and Wine, you can age it in a Cask to increase its value. It'll reach iridium in 34 days and then sell for double the base price.

Truffle Oil is one of the highest value items in the game available to sell, coming in at a base value of 1,065g. With the Artisan profession, this gets boosted to a whopping 1,491g, making it extremely profitable. It's also very easy to make.
Once you have pigs on your farm, Truffles will start to pop up. For every Truffle, a unit of Truffle Oil can be made. Truffles on their own sell for a high price, but once they're put through the Oil Maker, their value shoots up. It's an essential artisanal good to craft and sell.
Additionally, you can find a ton of Truffles with the help of your Foraging skill tree. If you choose Gatherer at Foraging Level 5, you'll have a 20% chance of double harvest on foraged items, which includes Truffles in Stardew Valley.

The value of Wine in Stardew Valley is completely dependent on the base value of the fruit used to make it. Therefore, the higher value of the fruit, the higher value of the Wine. Additionally, once the Wine is placed into a Cask to age, the value then doubles (with an iridium star).
Many, many people build their Stardew Valley empire around Wine production, because it's easy and very profitable. Some of the more profitable Wines include Starfruit (base price: 2,250g, iridium quality with Artisan: 6,300g), Ancient Fruit (1,650g - 4,620g), and Melon (750g - 2,100g). Pineapples, added in the 1.5 update, are also a great choice. Pineapple Wine sells for a base 900g and 2,520 at iridium with the Artisan profession.
