If you're seeking variety then Stardew Valley has a lot of different tasks for you to complete, many of which come with rewards. While the notice board in front of the General Store can help earn you friendship, the one that Mayor Lewis installs in front of his house is what you should really be paying attention to.

The special orders board has tons of tasks for you to uncover from many of the popular townsfolk. Completing these will yield special rewards that you can't get anywhere else. These rewards can help make life on the farm easier than ever by helping you stay organized and save time. Here are the quests you'll want to look out for.

10 Biome Balance/Aquatic Overpopulation: Rewards Farm Computer

The farm computer is received for doing either the Biome Balance or the Aquatic Overpopulation quest. The computer can give you a rundown of your farm stats to let you know how your crops are doing, how your machines are doing, and even the status of your mushroom cave.

Placing the farm computer near your home gives you a quick way to check on the status of your farm.

9 Pierres Prime Produce/Crop Order: Rewards Mini-Shipping Bin

The mini-shipping bin is another item that's given as a gift for completing multiple special orders. You can complete Pierres Prime Produce or Crop Order amongst others.

The bin doesn't need to be crafted, and you can get multiple bins from completing multiple tasks to place around your farm. The mini-shipping bin has nine slots, all of which will be cashed in at the end of the day.

8 Rock Rejuvenation: Rewards Sewing Machine

To get the sewing machine, you will need to complete the Rock Rejuvenation quest for Emily. You will receive the sewing machine itself in the mail, meaning that you can only have one on your farm.

This can be used to make clothes in your own home and cuts out the trip to Emily's house. The sewing machine can't be sold and doesn't take up too much room inside your house.

7 Tropical Fish: Rewards Deluxe Fish Tank

Being able to make your home look beautiful is one of the many fun tasks you can do in Stardew Valley. The Deluxe Fish Tank is a reward for completing Willy's special request, Tropical Fish. This request can't be accessed until you are able to reach Ginger Island.

The tank can be used to hold up to nine items, which are split into three different categories.

6 Curious Substance: Rewards Mini-Obelisk

The Mini-Obelisk can be obtained from doing the Curious Substance special order given by the town Wizard. You will need to craft two mini-obelisks to use the item and place them at different points on your farm. This will allow you to teleport between the two points instantly.

It can even be used inside of a building on your farm to make caring for animals much easier. Who doesn't need quick teleportation?

5 Gus's Famous Omelette: Rewards Mini-Fridge

The mini-fridge is a special item on the list because it can be purchased from Robin after you upgrade your home. The item is also given out for completing the Gus's Famous Omelette quest, which will require 24 eggs.

The item can be placed in your house to give extra food storage. It's a great way to make extra space for farmers who love to stock a lot of ingredients and dishes.

4 Cave Patrol: Rewards Geode Crusher

The geode crusher can save you a lot of time by processing geodes right on the farm. The blueprint for the item is received from Clint once you have complete the Cave Patrol special order.

The crusher takes one hour to process a geode, and several can be made to up increase efficiency. This will cut out visits to Clint and save you money in the long run.

3 Island Ingredients: Rewards Solar Panel

The solar panel is given as a reward for completing the Island Ingredients special order and is only available after you visit Ginger Island for the first time.

The solar panel can be put outdoors, and after seven sunny days, it will produce a single battery pack. The recipe does require several bars but will produce battery packs more often than a lightning rod.

2 The Strong Stuff: Rewards F.I.B.S Channel

F.I.B.S isn't like the other rewards as it is a channel that will be added to your TV. The channel will appear once you have completed The Strong Stuff request. It gives out information about the seasonal fish, where to find them, and what time of day they will appear.

This is incredibly useful, especially for anyone trying to get ahold of all the fish in the game.

1 Prismatic Jelly: Rewards Monster Musk

Monster Musk is an item you will learn to craft after completing the Prismatic Jelly quest. The item will increase monster spawns while you are in the mines for ten minutes at a time.

This is a great item to use when trying to farm monster drops and speeds up the hunting process. The item is also made from bat wings and slime, two of the easiest items to get in the game.
