Although Stardew Valley introduces fishing, relationships, mining for resources, and combat as gameplay features, the main feature will always be farming for crops or at least tending to your livestock. However, from the very beginning of the first year, when you receive your first parsnips, it's clear that the most important intention is to farm a variety of seasonal crops.

Each season, with the exception of winter, comes with its own selection of crops. Most of these can be found at Pierre's store, but some of the more profitable and interesting crop seeds need to be purchased from alternative locations. This guide will not only show where seeds from every crop can be bought but also their prices for each quality and grow times to help you better decide what to grow each season for maximum profit.

If you went down the Community Center Bundle route, JojaMart will close down. This means that crops that are also sold at JojaMart will not be available there. Thankfully, there are no JojaMart-exclusive crops.

These are crops that don't fit into a specific category. In general, these are rare or don't grow in a typical way.
