Stardew Valley is continuing to conquer all corners of gamerdom by teaming up with Xbox for a Game Pass release. Creator Eric Barone announced during today’s ID@Xbox presentation that Stardew Valley is coming to Game Pass for both PC and Xbox later this fall.

At this point, if you haven’t played Stardew on any of its other various platforms (which range from the PlayStation Vita to Macintosh), Game Pass is the perfect way to get into Stardew and lose countless hours farming in its beautiful pixelated world. Foster relationships, save the town from corporate takeover and go mining in the depths of a slime-filled cave armed with your magic sword.

Yeah, Stardew is really only about farming on the surface. Various updates since the game’s release have added new systems, mechanics, and gameplay elements until the game has basically become a life/action simulator with some farming on the side. Or at least, that’s how I play it anyhow.

We’ve got a ton of guides to get you started in Stardew, and even more guides for any of the myriad systems you’ll come across. If it exists in Stardew, we’ve got a guide for it.

We don't have an exact time for when Stardew will arrive in the fall, but we do know that Hades is coming to Game Pass on August 13, so you've got plenty to do in the meantime.
