Stardew Valley and Hitman 2 are free this weekend for Xbox Live Gold members. This deal lasts until June 29th.

While gold members will get access to the full Stardew Valley experience, there are only a couple of levels available for Hitman 2. Players will have access to the New Zealand and Miami locations in Hitman 2. Both games are on sale during this free weekend. Hitman 2 is 75% off and can be purchased at $25. Stardew Valley is 30% off and is available at $10.49.

Stardew Valley is one of the best indie games on the market today. Developed by ConcernedApe, the game is a farming simulation RPG where the player takes over their grandpa's rundown farm. The player turns the rundown farm into a thriving farm. There are also NPCs that the player can form friendships and relationships with, go on quests, and explore the mysteries of the world. The game currently has an 89 on Metacritic. Fans of games like Animal Crossing or Harvest Moon that have not given this game a chance should download this game.

Hitman 2 lets the player travel the world as Agent 47. Developed by IO Interactive, players travel to these sandbox maps as Agent 47 and finds creative ways to assassinate his targets. Players can experiment and try different methods to assassinate their targets. While gold members will only have access to Miami and New Zeland this weekend, other maps are available to purchase in the full game. The game currently has an 82 on Metacritic.

While these two games are complete opposites of each other, both games offer a lot of fun for Gold members looking to try something new this weekend. These free weekends that Xbox is offering is just another consumer-friendly move to show why Xbox is the best way to play games. Stardew Valley is a must-play game for RPG fans.
