In this guide, we are going to go over how to get a cup of coffee. There are two main ways to do this; using a coffee maker or a keg. First, let's take a look at how to obtain coffee beans so you can get starting on making your first cup of coffee.

Where To Get Coffee Beans

To make your own coffee, you will need coffee beans. Unlike other plantable crops, coffee beans are a seed. This means that to grow coffee beans, you just need to plant another coffee bean.

Coffee beans will take ten days to fully grow, and can be grown outside during Spring and Summer. If you have the greenhouse on your farm or a plant pot indoors, you will be able to grow coffee beans all year long. A coffee bean plant will continue to regrow and produce more beans every two days.

There are two ways to obtain coffee beans, which you can find below.

Traveling Merchant

The Traveling Merchant is a vendor that comes to the Cindersap Forest every Friday and Sunday, hanging around in the north-most portion of the area. The merchant will have a wide variety of standard stock and specialty stock. There will always be ten standard stock items, and they will have a chance to sell one special stock item.

Coffee beans can be in either of these stock options. This bean will have a 1.26 percent chance to appear in the standard stock for between 100 to 1,000g, and a 25 percent chance to appear in the special stock for 2,500g.

Dust Sprites

Dust sprites will have a one percent chance to drop a coffee bean. This isn't too high of a chance, but oftentimes, you can find several dust sprites in a group together.

To find dust sprites, head to floors 40 to 79 in the Mines.

Placing five coffee beans in a keg will produce one cup of coffee. The keg will take around two in-game hours to produce the coffee.

The coffee beans that you place in the keg need to be of the same quality. This is because the keg will only accept items that are stacked together.

After you have your coffee, you can gift it to villagers, such as Harvey, who loves ity, or drink it for yourself. One cup of coffee will provide the following buffs and recovery.

  • +1 Speed
    • 1 minute and 23 seconds
  • +3 Energy
  • +1 Health

After completing the Gifts for George special order, you will receive your own coffee maker. This Special Order is given by Evelyn, and can be accepted from the Special Order board directly in front of the Mayor's house.

For this quest, you will need to collect and place 12 leeks on Evelyn's stove in her house. Doing so will trigger a cutscene, as well as reward you with 2,000g and the coffee maker.

The coffee maker will produce one cup of coffee a day. You do not need to place any coffee beans in it, making this a great way to get free coffee.

Purchasing Coffee
