Ginger Island will be accessible after you have completed the Community Center, as well as finish a quest for Willy to repair his boat. Once you make it to Ginger Island, you will have to complete a few additional steps to unlock the Island Trader. With a bit of hard work though, the Island Trader will soon be available! Let's take a look at where to find this trader on the island and the specific steps you need to take to unlock him.

Island Trader Location

As mentioned above, the Island Trader can be found on Ginger Island. From the beach with Willy's boat that takes you to the island, head to the area north of you. When you enter this new area, you will see a clearing with trees. This is the location of the Island Trader, but if you haven't unlocked them yet, they will not appear.

To unlock the Island Trader, you will need to pay ten golden walnuts to the parrot nearby. This purchase option opens once you purchase the Island Farmhouse, which takes 20 golden walnuts. The Island Farmhouse is located to the left of the beach area.

Once you have unlocked the farmhouse, head over to the location for the trader and pay ten additional walnuts. Parrots will swarm the location, adding the Island Trader to the area.

This vendor will always be open.
