Stardew Valley version 1.4 is out, but it’s brought a few new bugs with it. Don’t worry, because ConcernedApe is already hard at work getting a new patch ready to clear those remaining bugs out.

Update 1.4 hit Stardew Valley on November 26th and added a metric TON of new features, added gameplay options, items, bug fixes, and more. But with every new patch comes the risk of bugs creeping into the code, and 1.4 is no exception.

The number of fixes listed in the 1.4 update are too numerous to count (I’m going to guesstimate around 300 listed items on the official Stardew Valley website) but that doesn’t mean all of them got squashed. But as any Stardew Valley player knows, it’s hard to get mad about bugs in this ongoing superstar farm simulator. After all, it’s just one guy doing the work (mostly).

And as always, ConcernedApe has taken to Twitter to let equally concerned apes know that Stardew will get polished to a smooth shine following the 1.4 update. It just might take a little while.

“PC players, I hope you're enjoying the 1.4 update so far,” Mr. Ape began in his post, “Just want to let you know that there is a patch in the works right now that will fix a lot of the lingering bugs that are in the update. It should be ready within the next couple of days but I'll let you know.”

Stardew fans also know that “next couple of days” actually means a few weeks, but no matter. We also know that it will get done, and when it does, it will be even more perfect than before.

In case you're a lapsed Stardew farmer and were wondering what new standout features you can get, there's a new fish pond structure that will let you farm fish and other aquatic organisms. There are 60 new items, 24 new hairstyles, 181 new shirts, 14 new pants, the new Four Corners multiplayer map, optional separate cash reserves for each player, and best of all, three new breeds of cat or dog to be your loving companion.
