Sweet gem berries are described as the 'sweetest thing you've ever smelled'. The little berry has an incredibly high value and takes 24 days to grow from a rare seed. Additionally, this berry will only grow in the fall, unless you plant it in your greenhouse.

Sweet gem berries will not continue to grow after harvest, meaning you will need to plant rare seeds again. Below, you can find the selling price for the sweet gem berry at different qualities.

Normal Quality

3,000g

Silver Quality

3,750g

Gold Quality

4,500g

Iridium Quality

6,000g

Sweet gem berries sell for quite a lot. Due to the uniqueness of the berry, you will not be able to place it in a keg or preserves jar. The berries can only be sold or added to the Seed Maker to create more rare seeds.

Where To Find Rare Seeds

Rare seeds are sold by the Traveling Merchant, who will appear in the north end of the Cindersap Forest every Friday and Sunday.

During Spring and Summer, you will be able to purchase between one and five rare seeds for 1,000g each. The seeds are part of her special stock during these seasons, and they will be available every time she appears.

In addition to the Traveling Merchant's special stock, rare seeds have a 1.26 percent chance to appear in her standard stock. This is a rotating supply of items that will change each visit.

Overall, the only ways to get rare seeds are from the Traveling Merchant or from the Seed Maker.

Old Master Cannoli & The Sweetest Taste

Once you gain access to the Secret Woods, you will come across a statue of Old Master Cannoli. Interacting with the statue will display a message, stating that Old Master Cannoli is 'still searching for the sweetest taste'.

The taste he is looking for is the sweet gem berry. Giving the statue a sweet gem berry will result in his eyes turning red and giving you a Stardrop, which will permanently increase your total energy.

Once Old Master Cannoli gives you the Stardrop, you will not be able to interact with him anymore.

That's all there is to know about sweet gem berries! This rare little berry doesn't have the most uses, but they sell for a lot of money. Since they take 24 days to grow, plant a few in your greenhouse and wait for the money to roll in.
