While playing Stardew Valley, items that are especially important will be placed in your wallet. From the skills panel of the menu, you will then be able to look at all the items in your wallet. If you are noticing a few empty spots, we are here to help.

In this guide, we are going to go over how to get every item that goes into your wallet. There is not a larger reward for having each item, but overall, having every item will improve your life in the valley. It's important to note that there is no set order for getting these items. Your collection order may vary from our list, and that's okay.

Rusty Key

Stardew Valley Jas And Vincent Sewer

First up, we have the Rusty Key. To get this item, you will just need to donate at least 60 items to the Museum. Once you have done this, Gunther will give you the key.

With the Rusty Key, you can enter the Sewers, which lie beneath Pelican Town. Here, you will be able to change your profession, fish, speak with Krobus, and enter the Mutant Bug Lair as part of a late-game quest.

Skull Key

The second key you can obtain is the Skull Key. This is quite simple to get; you just need to reach Floor 120 of the Mines. Although this may sound daunting, you will have 'checkpoints' every five floors, allowing you to leave and come back another time.

As you descend into the Mines, you will come across increasingly dangerous monsters, as well as more valuable loot. Overall, take your time and bring plenty of food as well as a strong weapon.

With the Skull Key, you can head to the Desert and enter the Skull Cavern. Additionally, the Skull Key will give you access to Junimo Kart. This is an arcade game found on the right-hand side of the Stardrop Saloon.

Club Card

To get the Club Card, you will need to complete The Mysterious Qi quest. This is a quest that requires you to find items around the valley; you can find a complete walkthrough for this quest here.

The Club Card will give you access to the Casino, which can be found at the back of the Oasis shop in the Desert. Prior to having the card, the Bouncer will not let you enter.

Dwarvish Translation

player standing next to dwarf in the mines

The Dwarvish Translation is a book that you will receive as a reward once you donate the four Dwarf Scrolls to the museum. You can learn how to obtain all four scrolls here.

After getting the Dwarvish Translation, you will be able to understand the Dwarf, who resides on the right-hand side of the Mines entrance area.

You will only be able to access this area if you have a Steel Pickaxe or Cherry Bomb to destroy the rocks blocking the path to the Dwarf.

Magnifying Glass

The way to obtain the Magnifying Glass is fairly straightforward. You will be rewarded with this item after completing A Winter Mystery. To learn more, you can check out our walkthrough for this quest here.

The Magnifying Glass will allow you to find Secret Notes. These are little pieces of paper that may contain hints about secret items, as well as other items that belong in your wallet.

Special Charm

To get the Special Charm, you will first need to find Secret Note 20. With this note, you will be directed to the truck outside of JojaMart. Interacting with the truck will cause the driver to speak with you.

The driver will request one Rabbit's Foot. Once you bring this to him, you will receive the Special Charm. With the charm in hand, your daily luck will permanently increase.

A Rabbit's Foot is a bit rare, but with a rabbit in your coop, you will have a small chance to get this item. It can also be purchased from the Traveling Merchant for a varying (but hefty) amount of gold.

Spring Onion Mastery

player speaking to jas for the first time

This is less of an item and more of a buff. To get Spring Onion Mastery, you will need to have eight friendship hearts with both Jas and Vincent.

With this friendship level, all you need to do is enter the Cindersap Forest during a sunny Spring day prior to 5 pm. Doing so will trigger a cutscene where you obtain this item.

The Spring Onion Mastery will increase the selling price of Spring Onions. For example, a gold Spring Onion will usually sell for 12g, but with the mastery, you can sell it for 60g.

Bear's Knowledge

Stardew Valley Secret Woods

Next up, we have Bear's Knowledge. To obtain this, you will first need to find Secret Note 23. The note itself is easy to understand, just bring "may-pal serrup" to the "seecrit wuds".

With Maple Syrup in hand, head into the Secret Woods area prior to 7 pm. This will trigger a cutscene with the bear; afterward, you will have Bear's Knowledge, which increases the selling price of Blackberries and Salmonberries times three.

Dark Talisman

player fishing in mutant bug lair

These next two items go hand-in-hand. The Dark Talisman can be found in the Mutant Bug Lair during the Dark Talisman quest.

This quest will become available after you complete every Community Center bundle. When this has been done, head to the Railroad area, where a cutscene will occur with the Wizard.

The Wizard wants into the blocked area that you are standing near, and says that with the Dark Talisman, you can pass.

From here, you can check out our guide on how to complete this quest, along with The Goblin Problem.

The Dark Talisman has no effects.

Magic Ink

Stardew Valley - witch's hut (external)

After completing the Dark Talisman quest, you will immediately begin The Goblin Problem. To complete this quest, you can refer to the guide we mentioned above.

With the quest complete, you can obtain the Magic Ink from inside the Witch's Hut. The ink itself does not serve any purpose, but with the quest complete, you will now have access to Wizard Buildings and the two shrines inside the Witch's Hut.

Key To The Town

Lastly, we have the Key to the Town. This item can be obtained by purchasing it for 20 Qi Gems in the Walnut Room. If you have yet to make it to Ginger Island, then this may mean nothing to you.

The Walnut Room is located on Ginger Island, near the upper left-hand side of the Beach Farm. To enter, you will need to have collected 100 Golden Walnuts. This is a lot, making the Walnut Room a late-game area.

When you gain access to the room, you can find a machine that lets you trade items for Qi Gems. This is a relatively rare currency; for more information, be sure to check out our guide on how to find these gems.

Once you have 20 Qi Gems, you can purchase the Key to the Town. This is a very helpful item that allows you to access all buildings in town, regardless of what time it is. The key will not work at the following places.

  • Elliot's Cabin
  • Leah's Cottage
  • The Movie Theater
  • The Oasis
  • Buildings on a Festival Day

With that, you now have every wallet item!
