StoneAge World is a new turn-based MMORPG where you ride and fight dinosaurs in a cutesy cartoon world.

The StoneAge series, Korean dev Netmarbles pet-collecting RPG franchise, has actually been around for 20 years. It’s amassed over 200 million players, but they’ve been mostly in Asia. StoneAge World, the upcoming mobile MMORPG, is their first worldwide title that you can actually pre-register to play in North America.

Coming for both Android and iOS, StoneAge World puts you in control of a cartoon cave person who tames prehistoric critters to defend the land from techno-dinosaurs. You’ll be able to hatch dinosaurs and train them to either ride around the open-world map or use them to battle your enemies.

There are 250 animals in all, and they’ve all got a pretty distinctive animation style. That is to say, they’re all adorable regardless of how many pointy teeth fill their maws.

And since this game is currently in open pre-registration, there are many free goodies to entice you to play. You can get 1,000,000 stones for signing up on the game’s website (with stone being StoneAge World’s in-game currency), or you can get 50,000 shells (that’s the premium game currency) by signing up from Google Play or the App Store.

Combat is turn-based, open-world exploration is real-time, and the emotes alone make this game worthy of your attention. Go pick it up and hatch your own dino companion. StoneAge World launches worldwide on June 18.
