One of the joys of Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town is that you can raise and keep animals on your farm. It's not just livestock you will be looking after either, as once you begin to expand your home and farm, you can keep other animals such as pets and mounts.
Once you've expanded your farm into the final area, you will be able to repair the dilapidated stables and can then begin keeping mounts, making travel across your large farm a whole lot easier. As well as standard mounts that you can buy, there are three secret mounts that you can unlock. We've got everything you need to know about mounts covered right here.
Repairing the Stable
Before you can tame a horse or purchase a mount from the Animal Shop in Olive Town, you'll first need a stable. The dilapidated stable is found in the third farm area that you unlock, this means repairing the bridge in the first section and then clearing away the rubble towards the north in the second section. These tasks can be done either with materials or money.
You will need the following materials to repair the stable:
- 50x Lumber (obtained by cutting down trees in the first farm area and then processing the logs in a Lumber Maker)
- 50x Solid Lumber (obtained by cutting down trees in the second farm area and then processing the logs in a Lumber Maker)
- 50x Supple Lumber (obtained by cutting down trees in the third farm area and then processing the logs in a Lumber Maker)
Once you have repaired the stable, you can purchase more from Nigel's Handiworks in town. You can own one mount for each stable that you have on your farm.
Available Mounts
All of the below mounts are available from the Animal Shop as soon as you have repaired the stables. However, there is a wild Brown Horse that you can tame in the third farm area, ensuring that you can get your first mount for free.

Unlocking Secret Mounts
As you progress through the game and collect Follower Sprites, you will eventually be able to purchase blessings from the shrine in the north of Olive Town. The more sprites you collect, the more blessings that you will unlock.
There are three secret mounts that can be obtained by purchasing blessings. Once the blessing is purchased, the mount in question can then 03be bought from the Animal Shop.

Unicorn? — Available When 300 Sprites Have Been Collected
Wolf — Available When 300 Sprites Have Been Collected
