If you've been scrolling through social media apps like TikTok, Instagram, and Twitter as of late, you may have come across the viral "strawberry dress" once or twice. The infamous dress, designed by NYC-based fashion designer Lirika Matoshi, may be gorgeous; but its hefty $490 price tag might not be possible for everyone's budget.

Luckily, some talented and creative people have figured out a compromise. If they can't wear the dress in real life, they can at least rock it in the virtual world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons! Here's a guide on how to get the viral strawberry dress for your villager.

Here's one option by designer Autumn, who replicated the dress's gorgeous plunging neckline perfectly.

There's also these options from creators Savannah and Sakura. Savannah's design opts for a poofier skirt, while Sakura's is longer. Both designers do a great job of replicating the dress's puffy sleeves, tie up details, and plunging neckline.

Here are two more options from creators Juniper and Hina. Both dresses do a similarly amazing job of incorporating all the details of the dress down to its silhouette. In fact, the main difference lies in the number of strawberries on each of the designer's patterns. Juniper's strawberries are slightly bigger, resulting in fewer strawberries overall, while Hina's strawberries are smaller, making their dress look like every inch is covered in fruit.

Designer Loli has this dress design that's sweet and simple. Compared to the other dresses, the pattern is a little more muted; but that doesn't take away from its overall adorableness and cute silhouette.

Lastly, here's an option from creator Momoroe, who even posted a photo to show how adorable their strawberry dress looks on their villager. Their sentiment of "if I can't wear it irl, I'll wear it in #ACNH" is one many players can probably relate to.

Owning the strawberry dress may not be a reality for everyone right now. But just like hanging out in big groups with your friends, going on dates, and weddings, at least all of those things can be accomplished in the virtual world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
