YouTuber JiDion recently wound up in hot water after discovering that he currently has an outstanding warrant for his arrest in the city of Houston, Texas. The content creator is being pursued by police for criminal trespassing after a prank went awry back in February, 2023. The warrant was issued shortly after JiDion and fellow content creator Damii approached a female professor at the University of Houston with a balloon, bear, and flowers on Valentine’s Day, causing a disruption to the class and refusing to leave the premises.

According to the video posted to YouTube by Damii, the professor in question clearly made several attempts to convince the content creators to leave, but when the pair persisted in their efforts, the instructor was forced to threaten a call to the University of Houston Police Department. Whether or not this call was actually made remains unclear, but a case against both JiDion and Damii was filed a couple of weeks later in March, the arrest warrant for JiDion being issued shortly afterwards. The charges which have been raised against Damii are currently unknown.

JiDion has already expressed a substantial amount of concern about the matter on social media, noting the difficulties involved in avoiding the area, being a longstanding resident of Houston. The streamer was previously told by several of his followers on Twitter to simply avoid entering the city limits. Damii has continued to post videos on YouTube even despite the growing legal issues. The criminal case against JiDion is currently listed as inactive, meaning that a trial date has yet to be determined on account of the streamer not being in police custody or having presented himself to the authorities. JiDion has not shared any specific information about his intentions regarding the case.

The content creator has been largely languishing on YouTube ever since being permanently banned from Twitch back in 2022 for launching hate raids at fellow streamer Pokimane. "My dislike for her has nothing to do with her gender but her as a person," JiDion later explained about the matter. "I'm not here to talk about why I got banned because I deserved to get banned. It is what it is. I broke the terms of service. But what I am here to talk about is that I'm here to ask Twitch to make it fair." JiDion went on to appear in a few videos with Pokimane, suggesting that both streamers were finally moving on. Pokimane said that she “fell into a depression” over the matter.

The news about the arrest warrant comes only days after JiDion was spotted with former president Donald Trump at UFC 287 in Miami, Florida. The content creator was seen alongside the notorious right leaning streamer Adin Ross who approached the politician on several separate occasions, standing up from his front row seat to shake hands towards the beginning of the show before engaging in a short conversation after the event. The content of the conversation remains unclear on account of significant background noise within the entertainment venue, Kaseya Center.
