Capcom has given us our first look at Street Fighter fan favorite Ken along with his moveset in Street Fighter 6, although he's looking a little bit more grizzled than usual. Just like with Ryu, Ken is looking a little older than he does in Street Fighter 5, but that certainly won't stop him from laying out anyone who he deems a worthy challenge.

Capcom announced Ken's inclusion in Street Fighter 6 during this year's Tokyo Games Show and while seeing him in Street Fighter 6 is pretty exciting, his new look seems to have confirmed a popular fan theory. Ever since Street Fighter 2, Ken has been happily married to Eliza - the daughter of Guile - and has stuck with him in his never-ending quest to fight Ryu. Well, it seems like she's finally had enough, as Ken's new haggard appearance implies that the Ken divorce memes that flooded social media a few months ago are accurate.

According to leaks, Ken is pretty down on his luck in Street Fighter 6 having been divorced and his child Mel has been taken away - the dog tags he's wearing actually belong to Mel making his new design even more tragic. Street Fighter 6 will also apparently have newly introduced character Luke try to restore the fighter to his former glory while everyone else apparently calls him "washed up" in win quotes.

With this announcement, we're starting to get a good idea of what Street Fighter 6's roster will look like when the game launches. Other recently revealed characters include new characters Luke and Kimberley while old favorites such as Juri, Guile, Ryu, and Chun-Li are also confirmed to be included in the title. We don't have a release date for the game just yet, but it is expected to launch at some point in 2023 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
