Summer Game Fest is back, returning with its host Geoff Keighley this year on June 10, right before E3 is scheduled to kick off. The show will host big publishers and studios like PlayStation, Capcom, Sega, Mihoyo, Square Enix, Ubisoft, and more.

Last year, Keighly hosted the festival of reveals, updates, and celebrations from May to August. The ongoing event stood to replace E3 in its absence during the COVID-19 lockdown and included many of the same big names you see on the schedule for this year. Companies hosted their own digital events, and united under the same Summer Game Fest branding.

It sounds like this year, you can expect much of the same, as the official website indicates another series events from game publishers and platform holders will kickoff following its opening show. In comments to Deadline, Keighly noted that this year he'll be able to run things from a live show on a soundstage, even with some guests, so things will be a little less restrictive as lockdown measures ease up.

The full list of companies includes 2K, Activision, Annapurna Interactive, Bandai Namco Entertainment, Battlestate Games, Blizzard Entertainment, Capcom, Devolver Digital, Dotemu, Electronic Arts, Epic Games, Finji, Frontier, Gearbox Publishing, Hi-Rez Studios, Inner Sloth, Koch Media, Mediatonic, Mihoyo, PlayStation, Psyonix, Raw Fury, Riot Games, Saber Interactive, Sega, Square Enix, Tencent Games, Tribeca Festival, Ubisoft, Warner Bros. Games, Wizards of the Coast, and Xbox.

The kickoff event begins at 11am PT on June 10 with a world premiere showcase show that will feature performances from Weezer, one of which includes a brand new video game soundtrack song. Video game collectible company Iam8bit will also host another Day of the Devs, which was a showcase that took place over two days back in 2020 and featured guided playthroughs of games by developers.
