While the farming world of Sun Haven is mostly relaxing and easy-going, some things can worry you, like the random appearance of certain bosses on your farm. These bosses can be located anywhere, and there's a specific way to remove each one from the area.
Krusty is the second boss that will appear on your farm, which will be much harder to defeat than Weedil. Even if you take the best path, it'll take a couple of days to remove this enemy due to its high health. This boss can also create major problems if left unchecked.
When Does Krusty Appear
Krusty will appear around day 15 or 16 in Spring, and you'll know when it's there since your camera will pan to the top left of your farm as soon as you get out of your house. When the screen is focused on Krusty, you'll see it perform a meteor shower on your farm, which can be devastating if left unchecked.
This will spawn a ton of special rocks all around the area, and these will have around the same health as the rocks found in Sun Haven mines. They'll not land on one of your crops as long as there's space at other places. These rocks can also have different minerals like Copper, Iron, or Gold in them.
When you break these mineral rocks, it's not a 100 percent chance of spawning an Ore. In fact, you'll be lucky if you get one from them. Though they do have higher health than normal rocks, which makes it harder to remove them.
Your farm will get more rocks every morning as far as the boss is there, and they don't let the player go through them. This can limit mobility on your farm and waste a lot of time when you're trying to move around.
How To Remove Krusty From Your Farm
When you talk to Krusty for the first time and ask it to leave, it'll just roar back at you. Ask the monster to leave politely and you'll be able to start two quests that'll help you defeat it. Once you select the options to start the quest, you'll have two ways to beat Krusty.
Firstly, you can simply hit the rock boss with a Pickaxe or a Sword. This will deal damage based on your stats and the type of weapon used. Though this is quite an inefficient way since the boss has 100,000 health and it'll take you days to remove it even if you just sit there and Pickaxe it all day.
On the other hand, you can finish the two quests to get some help with it. The Blade Buddy quest will first take you to Nathaniel, who'll ask you to inform Roza that he'll be busy on your farm for a little while. After talking to Roza, head back to Nathaniel and he'll head over to your farm.
The second quest called Pickaxe Partner will have you talk to Lynn, the person who came to Sun Haven on the train with you. She'll ask you to get her Pickaxe from Solon. To find him, head over to the bottom-right side of your map, and you'll find Solon's shop right beside the cart that takes you into the mines.
Take the Pickaxe from him and give it back to Lynn to finish this quest. Nathaniel can be found on the beach or the bridge to the right, while Lynn can be found in Solon's shop or near her house. She can also be found in the tavern sometimes. After finishing both quests, head back to Krusty.
You'll find that both Nathaniel and Lynn will be attacking the boss with their Sword and Pickaxe respectively. They'll keep attacking it through night and day until the boss reaches zero health, and you can also help them whenever you have free time.
When you reach the area after the boss reaches zero health, it'll turn into a different creature that'll be too cute to attack. Nathaniel will mention that he'll take care of things from here, and you'll get the rewards. There will be no more meteor showers on your farm.
Rewards From Krusty
Krusty is a special boss that gives you various rewards both while fighting it and after defeating it. If you break the rocks created by the boss, you can get Stone, Copper, Iron, and Gold. Moreover, attacking the boss will also generate some rocks and ore randomly. Here's everything you'll get once the boss reaches zero health:
- One Pebbles Pet
- Three Iron Ore
- Four Coal Ore
Pebbles is a cute small creature that can be placed anywhere on your farm by putting it in your hot bar and equipping it. It'll slowly wobble around a certain area, but you can also take it to an adventure by attaching a Pet Lease bought at the pet store.
Moreover, you can pet Pebbles when you get close to it. The final rewards from the boss are less simply because of the items you can gain throughout the fight.
