There are designated mines within Nel'Vari that aren't necessarily easy to access. Materials found in the Nel'Vari mines are crucial for accessing higher-tier armor and useful stat buffs. This guide will detail everything you need to know about the elven mines and all of its useful materials and daunting enemies.

How To Access The Nel'Vari Mines

Unlocking the Nel'Vari town is pretty easy. But once you are in the village it may be a lot to take in. To get to the mines, you must continue East through town and go past the character Caspian. You will find two stalls and wooden stairs overlooking a waterfall. Currently, you cannot purchase anything from the stalls.

The Nel'Vari mines are located above this area, so you must climb the stairs you see. Once you get to the top, another tree sentinel will be guarding the mines. Wilt will demand you provide a key to enter.

There will always be a Griffon at the mine entrance. This way you can easily fast travel between farms and this mine since it is quite out of the way. There will also always be a chest you can unlock for loot to the left of the entrance. Boxes like these respawn each season.

To enter the mines, you must give Wilt an Adamant key, Mithril key, or Sunite key. When you give them a key, do what you must and leave, you will have to provide another key to enter again.

The keys are not forever; you must make a bunch of keys if you want to return to the mines. The type of key will determine the size of the mines. Adamant key will be the smallest size, Sunite being the largest.

Nel'Vari Mine Materials

There are no regular ores or materials in Nel'Vari Mines. The Sun Haven mines are where you find useful materials to better your character. The Nel'Vari and Withergate mines will provide materials that are only useful for that town.

The blue rock nodes are what you want to grind. They provide Mana Shards. These act as currency for the market stalls just below the wooden stairs that lead to the mines. Though they are currency, they will sit in your inventory like normal items.

The other items you can get, such as types of Dragon Scales, can only be used to craft special potions to increase Damage or Defense. The Sun Haven Museum also needs these materials in The Hall of Gems.

The only thing the first stall, Poppy, sells is the whole Legionnaire armor set. These need to be traded from her with Elven Steel Bars. Elven Steel Bars can only be crafted with Elven Steel Ore which can only be purchased from Silas in the next stall over.

Silas sells a wide range of things in exchange for Mana Shards. He sells a Nel'Varian Pickaxe, Essences, Dragon Scales, and Elven Steel Ore. The Nel'Varian Pickaxe is useful for breaking Mana Shard nodes in the mines better.

The Essences Silas sells are permanent buffs to your stats.

Nel'Vari Mine Levels

The Nel'Vari mines have different themes. Sometimes they may be beehive themed, sometimes, they will be elven ruin themed. Whatever theme you find is whatever theme each key will get you. It is the theme of the mines for that day.

Each theme will have different types of enemies designed to fit the look. Regardless of the look, all Nel'Vari enemies will have around 170-200 Health and be Level 20.

If you have made it to Nel'Vari you are probably ready to fight Level 20 enemies, and you should be good to go. The elven ruins have the biggest enemies, such as a large rock golem.

The different themes do not affect the materials you find in the mines. They are just for aesthetic purposes only.
