We've seen Nintendo fans dash through classic Mario games as fast as they can time and time again, but how about speedrunning four of them back to back? Yes, this is a category, and one runner has managed to get through all of the titles in the Super Mario All-Stars collection in just 2 hours, and 36 minutes.

Japanese speedrunner ymgc has managed to beat their own record, which was previously 2 hours and 37 minutes. The feat was completed live on Twitch, where you can see just how much precision and memorization the run takes.

Super Mario All-Stars was released for the SNES, and contains Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros. 2, and Super Mario Bros. 3. In the 100% category, speedrunners must make their way through every single game, without skipping any of the levels with warp pipes or glitches.

Mario games, particularly the classics, are amongst the most popular titles in the speedrunning community. Just recently, a Super Mario 64 record was beaten yet again, with the "one star" category trimmed down to just 7 minutes and 10 seconds - 25 years after the game's initial launch. Meanwhile, another runner completed Super Mario Bros. in under 12 minutes... while blindfolded. You know, in case beating the game in a fraction of what the developers intended wasn't enough of a flex.
