A new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct is going to be happening this week and it could bring some more Mii Fighters with it. Earlier this morning, a new leak appears to have shown two different costumes from titles that are currently not represented in the game.

A new thread on 4chan has revealed an image of what appears to be upcoming Mii character costumes for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. The first costume is of Mallow from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and it appears to be for the Mii Fighter. The second costume, on the other hand, is of the Cacodemon from Doom for the Mii Gunner.

Smash Bros. Ultimate Mallow Doom Mii Costume Leaks

The picture on its own could easily be doctored, but the video of these costumes has also been leaked. The leaked footage can be seen as part of PapaGenos' video on the topic on YouTube.

The addition of Mallow from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars seems to hint at Geno's inclusion in the game. Geno is another party member from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars and has been a popular request for a Super Smash Bros. character for a long time. A Geno costume already made its way into Super Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U, so it's possible that he could make his way into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as a full character in the future.

The addition of a Doom costume might seem out of place, but there are a few different factors to consider. Doom Eternal was initially meant to be released for the Nintendo Switch this month but was pushed back to 2020. The addition of a Cacodemon costume could have been part of a planned cross-promotion between the two games. The inclusion of the Doom Slayer was also in several early DLC leaks, but many of these gave inaccurate information (such as Steve from Minecraft coming to the game), which means that a faker could be playing off those early leaks to make the idea of a Doom outfit seem legitimate.

Terry Bogard is due to arrive in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sometime in November (possibly on Wednesday), so it's possible that a new mini Direct will be broadcast focusing on the new content in the game. If these outfits are legit, then they would likely be revealed during any Terry-related presentation that Masahiro Sakurai has planned for this month.
