Management and media company TalentX Gaming, launched in May with former Call of Duty content creator and SoaR Gaming exec Jason Wilhelm as CEO, will debut SwayGaming, a new hub for social media stars and creators to improve their gaming skills in order to compete at the highest level.

The association will resemble Sway L.A., a home for TikTok stars whose members have a total of 70 million followers on social media. Sway L.A. features online celebs such as Quinton Griggs (5.6 million followers), Griffin Johnson (7.7 million followers), Kio Cyr (6.9 million followers) and Vinnie Hacker (1.2 million followers). Johnson suggested that he was leaving Sway L.A. to establish a more entrepreneurial career, noting that he needs to maintain his image and stay away from the insanity of TikTok.

Members will be given access to gaming stations and be encouraged to work together in an effort to boost their gaming skills. TalentX Gaming, a joint venture between its parent company, digital-first management firm TalentX Entertainment, and esports organization ReKTGlobal, was started to offer services for gaming, esports athletes, streamers and YouTube creators. Unlike other talent agencies, TalentX had been solely focused on TikTok stars up to now.

Tal Fishman, TalentX’s president, is the creator of the immensely succesful YouTube channel, Reaction Time, which has 15 million subscribers and a social media following of 6 million. He also has a second channel, Free Time, which has more than 2 million subscribers.

According to Wilhelm, TalentX Entertainment aims to “bridge the gap between TikTok, gaming and esports.” He adds that one of the reasons they launched TXG with ReKTGlobal and created SwayGaming was to bring together platforms like TikTok and gaming.

TalentX Gaming also includes former Abrams Artists Agency talent agent Amber Howard as head of talent and features stars such as gamers and streamers Natalie "ZombiUnicorn" Casanova and Mari "AtomicMari" Takahashi. TalentX hopes to expand their footprint in the gaming world with SwayGaming and build upon its mission of servicing "the modern digital era."
