Fans of the Harry Potter series can continue to live out their fantasies of being a witch or wizard by playing the tabletop game, Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle. Fans of both the books and movies will enjoy it as it incorporates elements of both. Up to four players have to work together to defend Hogwarts against Voldermort and other evil forces.

5 Legendary: A Marvel Deck-Building Game

Legendary: A Marvel Deck-Building Game is another cooperative tabletop game where the players work together. Up to 5 players can team up to take on one of the villains from the Marvel Comics Universe, and pick different hero decks to try and stop the villain's plan. Players have to both strengthen their fighting ability and recruit more heroes for their team. The villain who is the Mastermind has a number of attack cards that they use to fight back. Players win the game by collecting all of the Mastermind's cards and tally up their scores.

Clank! is all about being quick and quiet. Up to 4 players can take the role of a thief and make their way through the lair of an angry dragon to steal its artifacts, without getting caught Each player starts off with 5 cards that can either be Skill, Swords or Boots cards to help them gather more resources, fight monsters and move around the board. Players want to grab an artifact and as much loot as they can. Points are gained from artifacts and loot and the player with the most points wins.

3 Star Realms

A lot of deck-building games have a high fantasy theme of elves, dragons, and dungeons. But Star Realms changes it up a bit with a sci-fi themed game that takes place in space. It's a 2 player game where each player has control over different Ships and Bases.

Players must trade for more Ships and Bases, each with their own effects and strength, and attack their opponent with them. Whoever brings their opponent's score to zero wins the game. And there are a number of expansion packs and two different sets that allow each game to be unique.

Anyone who is already a fan of deck-building games has probably heard of Ascension. Made by pro champions of Magic: The Gathering, Ascension has a similar feel sure to draw in any fans of that game. The game is fairly simple, each player gets a small deck of cards and throughout the game try to strengthen their deck with more powerful cards. Each player earns "Honor Points" by collecting cards and defeating monsters, with the player with the most Honor points declared the winner at the end of the game.

Each player starts with a small deck of cards and on their turn, they draw, buy and play cards. There are several different types, including Treasure cards, which are used to buy other cards, and Victory cards. Victory cards award points and the winner of the game is the player with the most Victory Points at the end of the game.
