As spotted by fans, Take-Two Interactive's latest fiscal report suggests we have three remakes or remasters coming in 2022. According to a slideshow put together for the report, these three "new iterations of previously released titles" have not been announced to the public yet, but should launch next year.

The document doesn't reveal which of Take-Two subsidiaries - Rockstar, 2K, and Private Division - is developing the title, making it harder to narrow down. However, the possible candidates include franchises like BioShock, Borderlands, Civilization, and Red Dead Redemption.

A next-gen upgrade for Red Dead Redemption 2 would be a likely pick, considering it was among the last big releases to launch exclusively for eighth generation hardware. Borderlands 3 of course already has a next-gen upgrade, but that doesn't rule out the previous games in the series getting a PS5 and Xbox Series X/S release, especially considering that it would coincide with the spin-off, Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.

On top of these remasters or remakes, the report also shows that Take-Two is planning to publish ten free-to-play mobile games, which are yet to be announced.

Unsurprisingly, the slideshow also reveals that Grand Theft Auto 5: Expanded and Enhanced is still on track for 2022. This is an upcoming remaster for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. For anyone keeping count, this means by next year, GTA 5 will exist on three console generations, considering it got a remaster for PS4 and Xbox One too.
