Tales of Symphonia Remastered gives you many ways to improve your party's overall performance, including obtaining unique Titles, powerful Weapons, and much more. However, like most JRPGs, putting together specific builds for each party member will help you draw out their power, allowing them to perform at their highest in any encounter.

RELATED: Tales Of Symphonia Remastered: How To Get Every Party Member's Devil's Arm

When constructing a build in Symphonia, there are many aspects you must take into consideration to squeeze the most out of each character. This typically entails focusing on their Gear, Tech, EX-Skills, and Titles, all of which serve as crucial aspects that will allow you to hard-focus on their strengths to let them shine bright in just about any situation.

Best Lloyd Irving Build

An image of Lloyd from Tales of Symphonia in front of an orange sky, with a sad expression on his face.

Lloyd is the protagonist of Tales of Symphonia Remastered and wields Twin Blades as his weapon, allowing him to land devastating attacks with Tech that thrives on getting up close and personal with his opponent. Thanks to this, he can land high-damaging combos that can reach well beyond 100 hits, making him one of the best DPS characters in the game. That is if you have a good build for him. You can find the most optimal loadout for Lloyd in the table below!

Best Colette Brunel Build

An image of Colette from Tales of Symphonia Remastered, standing in front of a field underneath a bright blue sky.

Colette is more or less the catalyst for the story of Tales of Symphonia Remastered, making her one of the game's most crucial characters. She uses Chakrams as her primary weapon, enabling her to deal tremendous amounts of damage in unison with her Tech and Artes. Colette can be one of the best in the game and a core member of your party when paired with the right equipment. The below build showcases her potential!

Genis will be your first magic-based character in the game, and you will get to see his power gradually and impressively grow throughout the game. He uses a Kendama to cast his Magic Artes, enabling him to learn immensely powerful moves like Gravity Well and Cyclone if he follows the Technical route of his Tech Tree. Overall, Genis is one of the best damage dealers in the game and will be one of your best options.

Best Raine Sage Build

Raine is Genis' older sister and also focuses on magic-based Tech and Artes that she can cast with her Rod. However, in her case, she is best utilized as the party's Healer, and following her Technical Route will provide you with the game's best Healing options, enabling her to keep the party alive through even the toughest challenges. The table below will showcase how to capitalize on her strengths to make her a permanent member of your party.

Best Sheena Fujibayashi Build

An image of Sheena from Tales of Symphonia Remastered, looking toward the ground with an expression of disdain. She also has Corrine, a fox like Summon Spirit perched on her shoulder.

Sheena is an odd character in that she uses Cards as her primary weapon and can Summon powerful Spirits into battle with them, granting her enormous potential to be one of your best options. However, she can be tricky to play, especially when compared to others, and requires much more time and effort to rack up the damage. Nonetheless, the build below will let you get the most out of her unique playstyle. While she may not be a permanent member, switching to her occasionally can prove helpful, especially during most boss encounters.

Best Zelos Wilder Build

An image of Zelos from Tales of Symphonia Remastered, looking ahead with a grin on his face.

Speaking of odd characters, we have Zelos, who can wield a Sword or a Dagger and shares a very similar moveset with Kratos, who we will get to later. Zelos can deal massive amounts of damage, especially if you follow his Technical route, as it will unlock the potential to land high Combos that can eliminate smaller enemies and shred some bosses. If you're looking for a high-damaging party member, then Zelos checks all your boxes.

Best Presea Combatir Build

An image of Presea from Tales of Symphonia Remastered, looking straight ahead with a look of determination as blood runs down the right side of her face.

Presea is one of the more underutilized characters in Tales of Symphonia Remastered. While she has some potential, her overall moveset and build pales compared to most other characters available, with maybe Regal being slightly behind her. However, that isn't to say she cannot wreak havoc with her Axe. It's just that you will need a specific build and party to go alongside her to make her truly shine, which we will try to tackle below!

Best Regal Bryant Build

An image of Regal from Tales of Symphonia Remastered, looking ahead with a sinister expression.

As hinted at above, Regal is also another slightly underwhelming character that can put up huge damage numbers, but only with a proper build and party. He uses Leg Guards to unleash his damage on enemies, but he is more valuable as a Tank-like character, as he can take a real beating before falling in battle. However, in a game such as Symphonia, you will want to be dealing damage, and lots of it, during most of the late-game boss encounters while also having a dedicated Healer. This, amongst other reasons, is what makes it so hard to find a spot for Regal to shine.

Best Kratos Aurion Build

An image of Kratos from Tales of Symphonia, looking downward with an expression of anger.

Lastly, we have Kratos, who - again - plays very similarly to Zelos. He can wield a Sword or a Dagger and benefits significantly from the Technical route. If you don't have Zelos on your team, be sure to have Kratos in it, as his damage output is off the charts. When all is said and done, he may be the best physical-based character in the game, and the build below allows you to harness all of his power and use it to demolish enemies.
