The newest Dungeons & Dragons book is here, and it brings a lot of new toys for DMs and players to mess around with. Fans have been excited for Tasha's Cauldron of Everything so far, and D&D publisher Wizards of the Coast is feeding the hype. Tasha herself took over the D&D Twitter to answer fan questions, and let one little tidbit slip.

Tasha is a storied character in the D&D mythos who is billed as the "author" of Tasha's Cauldron of Everything. The powerful witch was raised by the hag Baba Yaga, and became an adventurer in the Greyhawk setting. She eventually achieved godlike power and became something of a villain, if you're against people who deal in demonic power.

In Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, the witch claims that her work was edited by another famous D&D caster, Mordenkainen. He supposedly cut out some of her more powerful secrets. Including, according to one tweet, guidance for hosting the "perfect Feywild tea party."

Oh, to imagine a world where D&D parties spent an entire session planning and hosting a delightful tea party for fairies. Where the DM must voice several different fae creatures, describe in detail the taste combinations of different types of tea and magical treats, and make polite small talk.

...Then again, speaking as a DM, maybe it's better that this section was left on the cutting room floor.
