According to a recent job listing, Team Asobi's next game is a 3D action game.

As reported by Gaming Route, a new job listing for Team Asobi has hinted at what the studio is working on next. The job listing was posted over on LinkedIn and gives the first bit of detail on what's coming after Astro's Playroom.

The LinkedIn listing reads, "Work centered around Level Design, your role will be to make a variety of levels for a 3D action game, each providing great tempo and creative situations. Your work also includes generating gameplay ideas and supervising their implementation".

Although this isn't the first time that Team Asobi has posted job listings recently, this is the first one to contain any sort of hint as to what the team is working on, and seemingly confirms that it'll be similar to the sorts of games we've come to expect from it.

The rest of the job listing also gives some insight into the next project. Most of it is vague references to job expectations, but one line, in particular, stands out as it asks applicants to "bring creativity and humour to the game". Humour and creativity have been a big part of Team Asobi's other works, so it stands to reason it'd be in its next title, but it's still nice to see confirmation.

Astro Bot is the obvious choice for the next Team Asobi game considering how well-received Astro's Playroom was. The two bits of information we've learnt from this listing certainly point to something similar to Astro Bot, and Team Asobi has said that the character would be returning for more adventures at some point.

One piece of information we do know about the next title from Team Asobi is that it'll be once again focusing on the Dualsense and its unique gimmicks, which it previously did with Astro's Playroom. The studio previously said that it was, "continuing to enjoy experimenting with it at this very moment".
