World-renowned European esports organization Team Liquid is preparing to enter the competitive VALORANT scene, according to a report from 1pv. The organization looks to sign the British fish123 roster, one of the most dominant teams during the VALORANT beta. Former CS:GO star Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom is rumored to complete the lineup.

Fish123 made their name as one of the best VALORANT teams in Europe during the game’s closed beta. Hailing from the UK, the team won the Mandatory Cup, Solary Cup, and three straight Take The Throne tournaments. Last month, Latvian member Ardis “ardiis” Svarenieks left the squad to join G2 Esports. The four remaining players, Adam “ec1s” Eccles, Dom “soulcas” Sulcas, James “Kryptix” Affleck, and Travis “L1NK” Mendoza are now reportedly signing with Team Liquid.

Completing the organization’s lineup is former CS:GO star Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom. ScreaM has been active in the professional Counter-Strike scene since Source, earning over $250,000 in tournament prizes throughout his ten-year career. Known for his crisp aim, ScreaM won events such as the StarSeries VII Finals, DreamHack Stockholm Invitational, and the ECS Season 1 Finals under the VeryGames, Titan, and G2 banners.

ScreaM left former CS:GO team GamerLegion in September of last year, and has been without an official team since. The Belgian star frequently streams his CS:GO and VALORANT gameplay on Twitch, where he has amassed over 918,000 followers.

ScreaM has played competitively in VALORANT since the beta, representing multiple teams. He briefly played alongside former CS:GO player Oscar “mixwell” Cañellas under the Prodigy name. He joined fish123 as a stand-in in June, competing in Take The Throne 6 and Epulze VALORANT Prodigies with the squad. The team placed second and 5-8th, respectively.

Team Liquid is just one of many esports organizations to enter the VALORANT scene. G2 Esports, T1, Team SoloMid, and 100 Thieves have all signed competitive rosters. Team Liquid is one of the most storied organizations in esports, having been founded in 2000. The organization boasts successful StarCraft II, CS:GO, League of Legends, and Dota 2 rosters.

Fish123 is next expected to compete in the WePlay! Invitational, the next tournament stop in the VALORANT Ignition Series. The event is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, July 15th.
