Less than a week until the end of the month, and it's that time again. The time when those of us subscribed to PS Plus eagerly await what games we're going to be able to get for free through the service at the start of the following month. Since last September, we've not been made to wait quite as long to find out what those games are going to be as PlayStation might like.

That's thanks to French site Dealabs which has somehow been getting the scoop on the upcoming PS Plus games ahead of time. It took a break from doing that last month but has returned to tease what might arrive for free in March. The one-month break and the curious way in which it has teased the next free titles suggests someone at PlayStation might have not-so-politely asked them to stop. Either that or the source from which they get the early info was on holiday.

Either way, Dealabs is back, and as highlighted by VGC, it has teased next month's PS Plus games in a very round about way. A forum post on the site reads, “I’ve been interested in Ark Survival Evolved and Team Sonic Racing recently, and I want to buy them to play them on my PS5,” it reads. “Knowing that I don’t really have any money, I’m hesitant to buy them. But hey, in the end, maybe I’ll wait until the beginning of next month.”

The post implies that anyone thinking of splashing some cash on either of those games might want to give it a week as on March 2, when this month's free offerings return to full price, Team Sonic Racing and Ark Survival Evolved will be free through PS Plus. Other than the odd way that information has been revealed, it's also noteworthy that only two games are listed. PlayStation tends to add at least three free games for PS Plus subscribers each month.

Official confirmation of what the next month's games usually comes shortly after a Dealabs leak. We may even know for sure what the games are going to be, plus any additional ones, later today. As for PS Plus, the service might not be long for this world, at least not as we know it. A report earlier this year claims PlayStation is merging it with PS Now to create a tiered system that will possibly compete with Xbox Game Pass.
