The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom's final trailer gives us our best look yet at this timeline's version of Ganondorf, and boy does he look angry.

Nintendo just shared the final trailer for Tears of the Kingdom to celebrate it being one month until it launches and what a trailer it was. The trailer showed us a ton of gameplay details, including makeshift jetpacks, water bubbles, massive robot structures, the possibility of dungeons and so much more. Beyond that, we also got a better idea of what the story is about, including our first proper look at Ganondorf - well, at least a Ganondorf who isn't skeletal.

We've known ever since the first trailer for Tears of the Kingdom, back when it was called "Sequel to Breath of the Wild", that Ganondorf was going to play an important role in the story, but all of his appearances in the trailers so far have shown him as skeletal and near the point of death, seemingly having been frozen in time underground. You might think Nintendo would save the big reveal of his more-alive appearance for the full game, but the final trailer went all out and gave us a proper look at his design.

Towards the end of the trailer, a voice (that sounds like Matthew Mercer) can be heard saying "you witness a King's revival", before showing some kind of darkness taking over Link's arm and the Master Sword. Ganondorf then appears in his revived form, looking a lot like his previous incarnations. We only get to see a brief look at him in the trailer, but Nintendo thankfully shared some artwork of him on Twitter that gives us a better idea of his design.

This version of him has the same face and hair as Ganondorf's past, but he looks a little older in the face and is adorned with a lot more jewellery. Interestingly, this version of Ganon is a lot more colourful than he's ever been (well, not counting Wind Waker), with bright white, red, and purple clothing. It's a distinct change from the flowing black cloak we're used to seeing him in.

He's also massive, with huge forearms that are likely going to obliterate Link. Not to put ideas in the internet's head, but we can already tell that a bunch of Zelda fans are going to be thirsting after daddy Dorf in the next few months. Scratch that, in the next few days. It probably doesn't help that he's already shirtless and has abs like barrels.
