During Bandai Namco's Livestream for Tokyo Game Show 2020, the company announced that Tekken 7's next DLC fighter will be none other than Kunimitsu. A swift, deadly lady ninja, Kunimitsu was last seen in the non-canon Tekken Tag Tournament 2. As for her story, the character has only been involved with the first two Tekken games, so the woman here is actually the daughter of Tekken 2's Kunimitsu.

It's a little confusing, but what isn't confusing is her skill. In the launch trailer for Tekken 7's fourth season, we get a solid look at what moves Kunimitsu will have available to her. She's not sporting a radically different style, but she certainly puts Yoshimitsu in his place.

There isn't an exact date for when season four will begin, but Kunimitsu is expected to launch in Fall 2020. She'll be accompanied by the brand new stage "Vermillion Gates" and a host of UI improvements. The biggest change is a WiFi indicator for online battles, letting players know whether their opponent is on wireless internet.

Season four will also introduce brand new moves for each character in the game along with a rebalancing of previous stats. This will hopefully knock Leroy off the top-tier list, though you can't easily dethrone such a god. A lot of the changes aren't focused on gameplay, but more quality-of-life adjustments for players interested in climbing the ranks online. Rollback netcode isn't currently possible, but Bandai Namco will be looking into ways to further improve the system already in place.
