Bandai Namco has released a fresh glimpse of a new character for Tekken 7, who will be available for its players in early spring this year. The new female fighter is a huge delight for all residents of Poland, as she represents this country in an unusual way.

Tekken 7's developers recently posted a new teaser for upcoming DLC 18/19. The short video features some real-life shots of Poland's sights and landmarks, with the recognizable Presidential Palace located in Warsaw. Switching to in-game Unreal Engine graphics of Tekken 7, the video continues. A respectable black car opens, and a prime minister comes out. She holds the phone at her ear and a voice can be heard from the speaker, talking about some threat coming from the King of Iron Fist Tournament. The prime minister answers, that she "must win the Tournament for the people of Poland." The woman certainly speaks actual Polish. Check out the new Tekken 7's DLC teaser for yourself.

The teaser was shown during the second Annual Japan Fighting Game Publishers Roundtable, but as of now, there is little information about the next Tekken 7's character and her abilities in combat. Game director Katsuhiro Harada said the idea of bringing a female prime minister fighter for Tekken 7 came from real history, as there were several women, who occupied this position in Poland. However, the game's version of the high-up official is not based on any real person. Additional details about the new character will be announced soon.

Tekken 7's previous DLC fighters include fan-favorite thief Kunimitsu as a 16th additional warrior released for the game back in November 2020. This Kunimitsu, though, is not the original one who appeared in the first Tekken game as well as Tekken 2, but the daughter of hers.

Bandai Namco`s iconic fighting was released in 2017, and by February 2020 has shipped an impressive 5 million units on all platforms. The latest update from the publisher in September counts a total of 6 million units sold, and by now the global figure is even higher.

Tekken 7 is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The game is playable on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S due to backward compatibility, but the developers have not released any special updates for this version yet.
