As colorful and friendly as the world of Temtem appears to be, there are some very solid threats that you'll encounter. Aside from the challenges posed by wandering tamers and the Dojos, there's also a criminal organization causing trouble.

Known as Clan Belsoto, you'll first encounter them while exploring Windward Fort — which they're exploring in the hope of uncovering something for their boss. They've kidnapped a Dojo leader to achieve this end, and are being led by the skilled tamer Lady Lottie. Your main mission is to chase the Belsoto out of there, and that means you'll need to confront and defeat Lady Lottie herself.

Clan Belsoto And Lady Lottie

Lottie's Intro

Clan Belsoto go around taking whatever they feel like, including Temtem. When you first encounter them at Windward Fort, they'll be placed all around the area, both solo and in pairs.

What makes them tricky is that there's no real theme to the Temtem they use. However, these have a mix of Wind and Water Temtem, so bring some Electric types. You can find the Electric bug Scarawatt on the Fort grounds if you're in need of one.

How To Defeat Lady Lottie

Lottie's Starters

Once you get to the top of the Fort, you'll encounter Lady Lottie, one of Clan Belsoto's Captains. It's important to keep in mind that you'll have to defeat several of her goons first. After that, you'll jump right into a fight with her.

Since the goons are mainly there to drain your team before the boss fight, their Temtem will use power moves — so try to dispatch them quickly. If you catch a Pigepic, it can be very effective at tanking hits as well as granting an evasion buff.

As soon as you're done, Lady Lottie will immediately come after you. She has a team of five Temtem that are all around levels 15 to 18. Unlike a Dojo leader, she doesn't have a particular type of Temtem that she favors, so it's best to have a balanced team before taking her on.

By exploring the routes leading up to the Fort, you can get your hands on Neutral, Water, Nature, and Wind types. Be sure to have some improved healing items, such as Balm+, in order to quickly recover from the previous fight.

Lottie's Barnshe

Lottie wastes no time in bringing out her ace, a Mental-type Temtem called Hocus, alongside a Water-type Kalabyss. If you picked Crystle as your starter, you'll have an easier time dealing with these two. Her Hocus focuses on using strong special attacks, but is weak physically and vulnerable to Electric. Having a Ganki or Scarawatt shock this duo will eliminate them easily.

She starts off strong, but the rest of her team is not as impressive. Her remaining Temtem are the Wind-types Loali, Pigepic, and Barnshe. While all of these Temtem are different, they share a weakness to Electric attacks, so Ganki and Scarawatt can continue their assault.

Once you defeat her, you'll be able to return to Arissola and take on the Dojo.
