The Rogue class is by far the coolest addition that the Calamity mod introduces to Terraria, foregoing the button spam that other classes encourage for a measured approach thanks to the stealth meter and its effects when charged. You must balance spamming and precision for the most damage, scoring big hits other classes can only dream of.

At the highest level of progression sits the most impressive Rogue weapons, which benefit from the effects of stealth on top of doing amazing damage against bosses and enemies alike; many of these weapons are perfect for tackling the difficult Boss Rush mode, which can be impossible without the best gear.

10 Celestus

Celestus Terraria Calamity

Celestus is a scythe-like boomerang obtained Post-Moon Lord through crafting with various endgame materials. Like most great Rogue weapons, it not only pierces enemies but phases through walls and floors, making it an effective tool even in tight corridors.

As it strikes enemies, it releases phantom blades that pierce infinitely and do 70 percent of its damage. Combine this with the homing effect that the stealth strike provides, and very few non-boss enemies will be able to stand up to your offensive capabilities.

9 The Final Dawn

The Final Dawn Terraria Calamity

The Final Dawn's strength lies in its varied utility, having an arcing slash, horizontal slash, and throwing attack that all do big damage in different ways. The horizontal slash is the result of a stealth strike, leaving a flaming aura in a straight line that damages enemies.

For a weapon that offers this much value, it's surprising that it's obtainable before fighting any boss on the tier of Calamitas, making it a great tool for the late-game that continues to be useful into the Boss Rush.

8 Plasma Grenade

Plasma Grenade Terraria Calamity

If you're looking to challenge Calamitas or any boss of comparable difficulty, the Plasma Grenade is a throwable weapon that should always be in your hotbar. Exploding on impact with terrain and enemies, the Plasma Grenade offers reliable splash damage that requires less overall focus and commitment than other options.

This weapon holds a charge that diminishes over time, which is the consequence of the high damage that it outputs. Thankfully, it's unlikely to run out of charge before the end of any fight and is relatively easy to restore with a charging station.

7 Nanoblack Reaper

Nanoblack Reaper Terraria Calamity

The Nanoblack Reaper is a boomerang-type scythe that appears unassuming at first but packs a punch that makes it worth keeping in your primary slots. What allows the weapon to work so well is its ability to ignore immunity frames, hitting once every eight frames regardless of the status of an enemy.

Since both the scythe and the energy blades it summons have this quality, it shreds through bosses mercilessly; this is a good contender when choosing what to use for Boss Rush or just cleaning up the postgame.

6 Refraction Rotor

Refraction Rotor Terraria Calamity

If you ever wanted to return the favor to the many enemies that turn Calamity into a bullet hell, the Refraction Rotor releases an intense flurry of homing rockets that are sure to put on the pressure. On top of the rockets, the Refraction Rotor also goes through tiles and pierces enemies up to nine times.

Its stealth strike adds to the number of existing rockets, doing an exorbitant amount of damage on top of the main weapon's strikes. Though not the strongest possible rogue weapon, it adds some functionality when using weapons that require more focus.

5 Seraphim

Seraphim Terraria Calamity

If you prefer the dagger class of Rogue weapons, then the Seraphim is the highest-tier dagger you can get in the game; sporting healthy damage numbers for a weapon in its stage of progression, the Seraphim explodes into six daggers as well as a laser that covers most angles when attacking.

With a stealth strike, you gain even more lasers to play with, turning the screen into your domain. There's something to be said about how many projectiles you can create before it's difficult to see enemy attacks (something the ranged class knows all about), but the Seraphim works fairly well even for fighting Calamitas.

4 Scarlet Devil

Scarlet Devil Terraria Calamity

The Scarlet Devil is by all measures the strongest Rogue weapon in the game, offering a ridiculous 10,000 damage with every throw. Beyond its damage, though, its stealth strike releases a star of projectiles and applies lifesteal to your next thrown spear.

If you don't mind how unbalanced the weapon is overall, it can turn nearly every boss in the Boss Rush into shredded meat with little difficulty— this is all while its lifesteal ensures that you'll never be at risk of getting your progress squashed by a few unlucky hurtboxes.

3 Seared Pan

Seared Pan Terraria Calamity

Without some variety, weapon classes would get boring; thankfully, the Seared Pan represents non-piercing weapons everywhere with its unique combo mechanic and decently high damage per second.

The first three hits that you land with the Seared Pan spawn fireballs that orbit you to provide some protection, with the fourth hit turning into a gold pan that causes spawned fireballs to home in on the affected target. The weapon rewards good timing and accuracy, so if you're looking for something that requires a bit more dexterity, the Seared Pan is likely to do it for you.

2 Supernova

Supernova Terraria Calamity

The Supernova is the best endgame bomb you can get your hands on, as it ignores immunity frames on top of releasing a plethora of projectiles to follow up on its explosions. Its detonation radius is fairly large, so bosses that run into it will likely get a significant portion of their health taken off.

The stealth strike bonus is what places this weapon in the highest tiers of the game, shooting homing energies along its trajectory before exploding and releasing its standard projectiles. Combined with an accurate weapon, the Supernova can reign over the entirety of the field.

1 Dynamic Pursuer

Dynamic Pursuer Terraria Calamity

The only true boomerang to have value in the endgame is the Dynamic Pursuer, a direct upgrade to the Pre-Hardmode Tracking Disk; it functions similarly to the weapon it's built from, being thrown to fire at nearby enemies as it returns to the player.

With the significant damage improvement over its predecessor, it destroys most lategame enemies the way that the Tracking Disk grinds up the Wall of Flesh in Pre-Hardmode. With stealth strikes, the Dynamic Pursuer even ricochets to home onto enemies as it fires its bolts.
