Street Fighter 2 Artist Mick McGinty Has Passed Away

In some tragic news today, Mick McGinty’s son, Jobey, shared news of his father’s passing. Back when artwork for games was an even more necessary component for selling them, Mick did all sorts of projects, including art for Street Fighter 2, Streets of Rage 2, Streets of Rage 3, Shining Force, Kid Chameleon, and more. According to Jobey, Mick passed away peacefully. In his words, “Dad left us SO peacefully, slowly taking softer, more gentle breaths, as opposed to the labored, congested breaths he had been taking the last few days. He was surrounded by his family, something that I assured him would happen.”

Pokemon Unite Won't Be Playable September 21 To Prepare For Its Mobile Launch

Evevryone brace yourselves, because you’re going to have to go an entire ten hours without playing Pokemon Unite this upcoming Wednesday. The Switch version of the game will need to go offline in preparation for the mobile launch, as cross-play will be a feature. Specifically, the game will be down from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM PT. After this time, the mobile game should be completely up and running, so Pokemon Unite will likely see a spike in their player-base.

Pokemon Unite Players Discover Mr Mime Exploit That Makes Blocking Goals A Lot Easier

As it turns out, Mr. Mime’s barrier ability might just be the most efficient way to block goals in Pokemon Unite. The barrier can be used to push an opponent off your goal. Even with the goal being fully charged and the scoring animation finished, the act of being pushed off the goal still means no points are scored. Reddit user jsalt213 posted a clip of this happening, both to the joy and dismay of many. It’s awesome to use, but infuriating when playing against others that pull off this stunt.
