Hideo Kojima is a well-known and respected figure in the video game industry - directing Metal Gear and Death Stranding will do that. His politically charged games have touched the hearts and minds of many over the years. He often tweets short reviews and comments about the films and TV shows he's watching, and sometimes, this leaves the actors in those works a little flustered.

Jack Quaid, the actor who plays Hughie Campbell on Amazon's The Boys was shown a tweet from Kojima, live on a Kinda Funny video. After recently revealing that the game maker had an idea for a title that was scrapped for being too similar in theme to The Boys, Kojima has been catching up on the show.

The hosts of the show tell Quaid that Kojima has been tweeting about the show for a while and is now tweeting about Hughie specifically. Quaid excitedly responds, "He is?!" The tweet in question simply states, "Watched up to episode 5 season 2 of The Boys. Hughie Campbell really likes Billy Joel."

"This is amazing!" Quaid shouts once the tweet has been read out. "That's such a whatever comment but the fact that it's Hideo Kojima and he's seen my face? That's fucking nuts."

Seems Kojima still has the power to get even other famous successful people starstruck. This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship with Quaid, like the one he has with actor Rahul Kohli.

In other Kojima news, his studio, Kojima Productions, is selling peace charms in support of Ukrainian refugees. All proceeds are going towards those feeling the country and heading for Japan.

The studio is also working with Microsoft on an exclusive Xbox game. Apparently, it will utilise the publisher's cloud-based technology to create a never-before-seen type of game. Don't worry though, the company is still working with Sony, too.
