Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will allow the player to join forces with one of five factions in order to survive the dangerous streets of Seattle. It has been revealed that the Ivory Tower is still taking applications, as the Camarilla is one of the factions in the game.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines was set in Los Angeles, which is part of the Anarch Free States. Prince LaCroix tried to claim control over the city in the name of the Camarilla, but he was disposed of during the events of the game, leaving the city under the control of the Anarchs. Prince Vannevar Thomas is attempting to retake Los Angeles in the ongoing story of the L.A. By Night YouTube series on Geek & Sundry, but he has so far been unsuccessful in routing the Anarchs.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 is set in the city of Seattle, which is firmly under Camarilla control. The official website for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 has been updated with information on the Camarilla and the people in the organization who hold control over the city.

Seattle is ruled by Prince Alec Cross, who controls the city through corporate means, as Seattle has become a hub for the tech industry. The Kindred who are members of the Camarilla have eschewed the use of technology in the past few years, as the Second Inquisition uses the Internet to track down and murder vampires, but they still wish to keep these industries alive. The Camarilla has given power to the other factions in the city in order to prevent them from teaming up in order to overthrow Prince Cross, which explains why the Pioneer faction also has a leader with the title of Prince.

The Camarilla was once the default faction of the Vampire: The Masquerade tabletop game, as they represented safety at the cost of individual freedom. The focus of the game has shifted in recent years, which means that equal attention has been given to factions like the Anarchs, who wish to elect their own rulers and spend their unlives in any manner that they please. The Camarilla can offer tremendous power and a steady supply of blood, but only for those who play by the rules and know the appropriate time to kiss the ring, which is not something that everyone is willing to do.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 will be available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in March 2020.
