The next entry in the Dark Pictures Anthology following the upcoming House of Ashes will be titled "The Devil in Me".

This was posted by ResetEra user AshenOne, who spotted a trademark for the game going up on Justia Trademarks. The trademark reveals the title of the next game in the series, as well as showing off the logo.

The logo for the game is fairly simplistic and similar to the other entries into the series, which means that it doesn't give away too much information about the plot of the next game. However, it's worth noting that the trademark specifically points out that the bottom of the V in Devil is supposed to look like a magnifying glass.

This could hint at a storyline that features a detective as the main lead, or could just be relating to the title of discovering a devil inside a character. The trademark makes it known that this is a purposeful choice though.

As for the name, it's pretty clear that this entry will focus on demonic possession of some kind and will have a character dealing with the devil inside of them. Whether that's the playable character or not isn't clear this early on, but considering the other games in the anthology seem to deal with psychological horror, it's likely that will be the case.

It's interesting to note that the next entry in the anthology has been revealed before the upcoming House of Ashes has even been released, which shows how far ahead these games are being planned. The trademark for The Devil In Me was filed at the end of June, with an update happening to it on July 1, so it's not clear how far along in development it is currently.

Each game in the Dark Pictures series has a teaser for the next title as a bonus for finishing the game, so it's likely that we'll get our first look at The Devil In Me once House of Ashes has been released.
